I wanted to pay a little homage to an amazing woman who broke stereo types and opened peoples eyes to them threw comedy. She helped people laugh their way threw pain, and situations that weren't funny. But threw comedy helped people to heal. She was brash, bold, honest and almost always controversial. She made us laugh, had great insight and wisdom; the every witty Joan Rivers. May she rest in peace.

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is God's gift, that's why we call it the present." - Joan Rivers

Additional Comments:

Here's a little video that is great. Rethinking Unpopular :)

enjoy :)

sometimes when things are falling apart ,

they may actually be falling into place .

I stopped telling myself I am lost

I'm not

I'm on a road with no destinations ,

I'm just driving with hope that i'll find a place that I like and i'll stay there

I'm not lost , I'm on my way

it is by standing up for the rights of girls and women that we truly measure up as men

be happy for no reason , like a child .

if you are happy for a reason ,

you're in trouble ,

because that reason can be taken from you

we must learn to live together as brothers ,

or perish together as fools

don't learn the tricks of the trade , learn the trade .

a flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it ,

it just blooms .

we can only be what we give ourselves the power to be .

it does not require many words to speak the truth .

angels can fly because they take themselves lightly .

it takes as much courage to have tried and failed

as it does to have tried and succeeded .

I was watching a sports documentary the other day and it mentioned a quote by Brucee Lee on the importance of practice, he said "I fear the opponent who practicesd one kick 10,000 times more than one who knows 10,000 kicks".

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.
