When it comes to setting up an appointment, one of the thing that is important for most people is: DISCRETION.

Ladies/gentlemen, I'd like to know how do you view discretion? Is it important to you?

What do you consider as discrete and not ? :

- Before the appointment ?

- After the appointment ?

- If a lady/gent is not discrete what do you do ?

I am very curious to know what you guys think about it.

That's said, I'll leave the rest to your discretion ;)

For me is ....

1) If I give you a number to contact me,it is for your use only and not to be shared with anyone. If I initiate a hello text, it is fine to text me back, but don't out of the blue simply text me and ramble on, I could be in another meeting...at work :)

2) If I give my email address to contact me, it is for your use only and not be shared with anyone.

3) What ever might transpire in our get together remains between you and I and not for the lady to share the information unless I was a bad date, a total dickhead through the encounter. If the lady would like an recommendation from me I will ask firstly from her to ensure it is okay to post.

Just treat the discretion as the upmost importance between both parties it simply makes ME wanting to come back for MORE, if NOT then I may not have the desire to come back.

Lastly, I can honestly say that 99% of the women I have had shared info with such as contact info, are exceptional at it and they fully understand the guidelines to follow for discretion.

1.For me, since I'll give whatever info you request for first time booking I ask it kept between us.

2.For phone calls or txt I ask that you don't unless initiate or I give instructions otherwise.

3.Email or pm anytime I don't care.

4.For ladies who have special request as discretion please let me know or a friendly reminder is appreciated. Would hate to start off on bad term.

5.Most important when I'm searching for porn i expect not to find a secret home video of us. ;)

I think its pretty well common sense but then again some people have none.

For me when you have a missed call and there is no message, please don't call back 5 hours later because you don't know where I am or who I may be with at the time. If my significant other was to answer the phone, I would hope that you ask for a different person and pass it off as a wrong number.

I always find this an interesting concept when it comes up, if you leave no message how can a lady know what time frame is acceptable to call back and what is not?

If you do not wish to receive a call back it's always better to be clear in a message stating "I am calling at 'ab' time from the number last four digits 'wxyz' and for reasons of discretion would prefer not to receive a call back, I will however try to reach you again. Thank you."

The reason I suggest this is a number of ladies receive complaints on boards for "not returning calls" so often they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. In addition many ladies do not accept same day dates or may not be available on a particular day so by their scheduling practice callbacks during a much longer time frame would be deemed appropriate.

Finally as I have always stated if your spouse may answer your phone don't call from it, mitigate your risk and invest in a separate phone or sim chip and if that isn't an option then simply don't call. Most ladies can be reached via email nowadays and it's easy to get a secondary email that your spouse would not have access to. Discretion only goes so far and the responsibility of not being caught cheating lies on you not on your companion.

Oh and for the record I only schedule dates via email so this isn't personal just a topic I have seen discussed frequently on the various boards. :)

Discretion is keeping information shared between two people between those two people. I protect your privacy and you protect mine. I feel I am paid as much for that as I am my time:)

Well put Empty83,

I will also assure the ladies that the same direction will be returned..

To the degree that I feel that even writing a recco diminishes the experience of what we shared.

But thats just me..!!

My 2c.

That is a very good point, I personally never thought about both side and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I hate the first call its so nerve wrecking. Now here why, I once dialled the wrong number. So when I tried to book an appointment I got a wtf wrong F ing number. So know I say "hi, how are you, is this so and so?"

Now if I may suggest if a woman were to call back I would suggest something like this "hi I'm sorry but I missed a phone call may I ask who this is hence you don't recognize the number?" Easily to explain oops I dialled the wrong number to someone if by chance they picked up my phone by mistake.

But as a hobbyist one must understand the only risk free is not to see a provider. Life always has risk, there is too much what if scenarios.

I only call back if I've missed the call by a few minutes - five or less. If they want a call back otherwise, I'm assuming they will leave me a message asking me to call back. I also have my phone number blocked when calling out, so if I call a gentleman and he doesn't answer, or someone else answers, they wouldn't know who it was that was calling.

My most important discretion issues are upon arrival, and I know there have been threads on this.

When you come to my building, please don't stand in front of people outside when calling me, and repeat HI CLEO? YES, RING ##, APT ###, because you have just told anyone around who I am and where I am. Please do not bang loudly on my door when you arrive, and don't say HI CLEO, NICE TO MEET YOU! When i open the door. My apartment does not have a soundproof barrier, and any neighbour home will have heard that. And they don't know me as Cleo. Please knock quietly (Or, I usually will be waiting and open the door as you walk up, please don't still insist on banging on the open door). Enter, and wait until I've shut the door before we start saying hello. Once we're in my bedroom we can be as loud as we want, but I'd rather not have my neighbours hear people arriving.

I'm with Cleo. If a lady hasn't returned my call or text within 5-10 min, I assume I won't be hearing from her. That's perfectly fine and it makes sense. Also, I always do my utmost to be unnoticed during the walk-up. Just act like I belong there and not draw attention to myself, and most of the time I never get any second glances.

Quite. And under those circumstances, many ladies won't call back at all, which is absolutely fine with me. If I want someone to call back, I'll leave a message... but I'm far more likely to drop her an email or PM instead.

It's FAR better to err on the side of caution than to call back and have a SO pick up the phone. I'm no expert on this, but my understanding is that it doesn't take too many female callers with a "wrong number" to kick off a few awkward questions...
