Upcoming events on the main page

Hi all, there might be a post on this but would like to know how do I get to appear in the upcoming events of the 10 days on the main page?

I have never used this feature but the upcoming events listing is taken from items added by members/sps to the calendar feature.

 

You can access the calender feature from the main page it is on the top ribbon. Once you are on the calendar there is an add link at the bottom of the page.
