One of the things I was going to request was that she back a proposal to have the SCC take a look at the law prior to passage or, if rammed through, have the SCC suspend the law until it could be reviewed. And then guess what what I ran across: Refer prostitution bill to Supreme Court 'immediately,' NDP says and Update on Canadian Whistleblower Edgar Schmidt Yes, the articles are related. The ignorance, hatred, venom and stupidity never fails to both gall and sadden me. We, as Canadians, shouldn't have to claw so much or scream so loud to have our basic rights and needs heard and protected or have people dismiss us as diseased victims who don't know any better.
