My ATF for the past decade, Jasmine, is a Filipina with C cups, a rare but glorious combination. She only works Friday nights now at the Nuden.

There are a number of other Asians at the Nuden, so I'm always quite happy to visit!

I think the Conservative government would really rather not legislate on this issue. This reminds me of the hysterical reaction last year when there was a technical issue on dealing with gay divorce and all the opponents of the Conservatives jumped on the issue and claimed that the Conservatives were just itching to abolish gay marriage. Instead, the issue fizzled mere hours later when the government announced that the laws would be updated to encompass gay marriages. Harper isn't interested in promoting conservative issues, as he's shown again and again with the abortion issue, gay marriage, etc. He is interested in winning elections. Coming down with heavy legislation won't do that--it will just appeal to the Conservative base, who would vote Conservative no matter what.

Why so little discussion about the Nuden?

It's by far my favourite club in Ottawa, but it helps that its so convenient for me to get to, my ATF Jasmine is there, and and I know a lot of other girls. The decorating is far nicer than most other clubs and the new CR while totally lacking in privacy has extremely comfortable couches (totally unlike the cattle stalls in Barb's). It's far from downtown though, so it gets far less attention on here.

But the food isn't exactly high-quality--I think there must be a special "strip club" super-cheap cut of beef that the wholesalers sell to these places! :) It's a similar deal at Barb's, but I think slightly more money--I don't recall the exact details as I haven't been there for a few years, but one of the other friendly neighbourhood pervs here will definitely post!

I first met her at the Nuden several years ago, and saw her at Barb's and Barefax after that. I ran into her a couple of weeks ago (not at a club) and was glad to hear that she was back at the Nuden, as that has always been my favourite club.

Currently my favourite grind is provided by Lola at Barbarella's. Not the same fierce "Oh shit I think she might have snapped it off!" feeling as Nelly, but nice and firm and extremely enthusiastic. Bonus--she has a gorgeous pussy!

The best club layout with only ugly or boring girls makes a bad strip club, but even the worst looking place will be great if the girls are sexy and good to their customers.

My favourite bar (Nuden) is polling low, but since my ATF is there and I know lots of other girls and it's close to me I prefer it by far, as I'm sure is the case for many in making their selections.

Hmmm, I haven't been to that club yet. Do you happen to know on what nights she works?

Unfortunately I don't get to go to the Nuden as often anymore as I used to, but she seems to be a night girl who gets there in the early evenings late in the week.

Max-NuDen-often would discretely give her $10 after her stage show. Appreciated her dance.

Max has one of the most interesting shows I've ever seen. She's extremely energetic and she dances to "world" music that has probably never been heard in any strip club before. She's very sensuous in the CR too, and busy--the last time I was there she came over to me right away and said sorry she couldn't dance for me that night as a regular had reserved her for 3 hours!

I absolutely love duos. Had some fabulous ones with Megan in the past, and will probably have many more with my long-time favourite at the Nuden Jasmine in the future!

When the proprietor of Megan's Touch used to dance her music was instantly identifiable as the probability of hearing it when anybody else was dancing anywhere else was infinitesimal.

There's a girl at the Nuden named "Max" who dances to "world" music that has a middle eastern/latin sound.

In my professional opinion (!), choosing unique songs seems to be an excellent strategy rather than going with standard strip club beats.

I don't tend to have change or small bills in strip clubs as the whole place seems to run on $20's, but I hate the idea of giving the guy $20 to turn on the tap for me. My strategy in the Nuden is to go straight into the handicapped stall directly inside the door--it has its own sink and paper towels too so you can leave directly without going past the guy.

Stopped in at the Fax today around Noon. Met a very nice girl named Bambie! Very friendly and casual way of speaking to you before the dance, not the usual generic dancer banter, but very genuine. Fun times in the CR!

Yeah I agree--she sat down and chatted with me for 10 minutes, and then was kind of surprised that I suggested a dance instead of just chatting! Probably not the best way to maximize her income, but it was a refreshing change.

Private strip club would be great! It's fun to hit up some but sometimes the club's are too busy to really talk to the girls. It's nice to get a conversation before actually getting a dance.

The most private strip club in Ottawa is the Seduction Lounge at CMJ.

The no colours signs in some clubs are there to give the rest of us some comfort.

When I see a sign like that I tend to turn around and avoid the club. Same with metal detectors--my favourite club in Montreal (Kingdom) has them and they make me uneasy. Although they're probably a good idea--my favourite Ottawa club (Nuden) has shootings but no metal detectors, so a little security effort would probably be a good thing all in all.

I don't know if that is the same girl; this Dina appears to be early 20's.

Twenty years ago when I lived near the The Playmate and just started going to strip clubs I was very excited to see a sign advertising that it was "Amateur Night" that Sunday. I was very disappointed that there was almost no detectable difference from any other night, other than that some of the girls had trouble walking in those 8-inch heels!

I was driving by Cabaret Canada this afternoon and saw what looked like a perfect light ebony spinner girl standing outside having a smoke. So I pulled in and as I walked in the club said hi to her, and she said with a hint of spanish accent, I'll see you in there? and of course I said yes.

Her name is Dina and she as close to perfect in beauty as I have seen. Spinner figure, small perky naturals, perfect bum, and beautiful Latina type face with dark eyes, crinkly black hair. She is from Dominican Republic. Personality-wise she knows how to flirt and be funny. She could not believe it when I told her I had pulled in because she looked so hot standing in the parking lot! She is an athletic tiger on the stage, by the way. Another guy did the lie down with $5 in mouth routine and she straddled him and really gave him his money's worth!

So we went back to the booths and I had six dances with her...very sensual. She told me she dances at Barbs and Pigale as well. Anyone else seen her? I am hooked.

She's been dancing there for a long long time, but I've heard that she also dances at some other clubs.

I've heard it said before that the difference between strippers and burlesque performers is about 40 pounds, and that name sounds like there's some truth to that! :)

I found out about CERB when I was a dancer and curious2 mentioned to me that Cato had named me in the "favourite dancers" thread.

Who says all the sitting around and surfing the internet that I do hasn't paid off handsomely!

I did have a really great dance with a gorgeous older dancer named Caroline. She was a sweetheart.

She used to dance at the Nuden. I had many very enjoyable dances with her. She used to have a "tough" look with lots of leather, studded belts, etc (though she's actually very gentle), but I've heard that she's moved away from that look at the Barefax.

With such a big affluent population base in Kanata and Barrhaven, I would have thought there would be plenty of demand for a strip club. Someone here will know--why did Jason's close? Is there any zoning opportunity anymore for a club anywhere in the west end?

There's a huge difference in different cities too. If you live within driving distance of Montreal, the price that you'll pay in gas will probably be more than defrayed by the rate difference from a city like, say, Ottawa. :)

Barb's definitely isn't my favourite. The CR is incredibly bad with a whole bunch of little cattle stalls and the place is a squalid little dump overall.

No, it's definitely not the new norm. The Nuden is by far the nicest club on the Ottawa side of the river. I don't think the Barefax has done any renovations in the 25 years that I've been going there. Barbarella's always surprises me by how much of a dump it is (the washrooms especially).

...on how to say "no" :) (actually I'm horrible at it, probably one of the worst), I'd say my top 3 "techniques" for avoiding clearly saying no:

1) say I'm waiting for a regular

2) ordering food

3) bring extra $20's to get single dances

Sympathy dances are just insulting!

I must admit I've used that technique a bunch of times (see #3 above!). It works, especially for the girls who give you the "I'm not making any money at all, this is my first dance all night" speech. Of course, I've had it backfire on me too--at Pigales, where it's a long way down the stairs to the champagne rooms, when a dancer got mad because I just took her down for just one dance!
