I first saw the Canadian Flag on foreign soil. I was in New York at school in February 1965, and it was flying along with all the world's flags at United Nations Plaza. Seeing it amongst all the flags was special. I now fly it at my country home and still get a bit of a lump seeing it wave.

I am not much of a lingerie guy. In a discussion with one lady I mentioned that some women look great in sweats and a tee. The next time I saw her that's what she wore, and she was. Another, a spinner who I was seeing for the first time was in a colourful light dress, and bare feet, and looked really cute.

It's the award season for the film/television industries.
