Just got back from 2 years of hiatus, I do read the threads sweetheart.

My wife was reading all of this when this was happening.

Because of that incident I have opted for a second text in the line of "If you are unable to reply to this text before **:**pm please disregard a meeting until I can clear my schedule.  So please don't text me after this time."

This as worked for me since.  It still doesn't solve your problem of her not replying back to you, if you wanted her to do so.
