I work both freelance and for an agency.

 

I can't speak for the client side of things, but through the agency, I can't guarantee when I'll show up (it depends on how long the driver takes to get to me and then how long it takes to get to you from where I am). Then, there is the little business of safety calls. One at the beginning post-cash and then 15 mins from the end.

As an avid hobbiest for over 20 years, I vowed never to use an agency again. I've been dissapointed with the either the description of the girl I asked for or the time I had to wait until she showed up. I used to rent rooms for a 4 hour period and I always called well in advance to make sure who I wanted was going to show up at the specified time. It makes for a very tense session when the girl shows up 2 or 3 hours late not to mention that she may not look like what the booker promised you. I won't say that all agencies are like that because I haven't tried them all. I can say that ever since I've been dealing with Indies (Independant SP's) whether they are In or outcall, I've been very happy. I get to speak with the SP directly to feel the vibe I get from just talking. I can usually tell with a few minutes if her attitude is right for me. On the SP side, I've been told that they are more willing and at ease to see clients after they have spoken to them as well. I can say that most of the time I had spent with Indies, they were all willing to spend a little more time with me. Now I don't know if that was just for me or whether they generally are less stressed clock watching. I'm hoping that it was because me ;-)

I've always wondered; how much of a hobbyist's decision on picking an SP is based on the hair style, length, colour, etc. of the SP?

 

Also, how would/do hobbyists feel about short haired girls wearing long extensions in order to accommodate their personal hair preference for an SP?

Personally, I love nice hair period. whether its long and flowing or short and sassy any color will do. When I see a beautiful woman walking on the street I really get a vibe from looking into her eyes. Then I check out her lips, breasts and and as she walks on by, her ass. When looking for an SP I can only go by body features because most SP pics don't show their face and hair doesn't play a big factor for me. Unless of course yours is spiked and looks a peacock. Hi all! This is my first post on this board, however I am not a newbie to the industry.

Arianne, I'm not sure if you are addressing women and men who work the Sex trade or those who use them. I am an addicted user and here is my story. I am hobbiest who was practising before I even knew there was name for it.
