Haven't been there in some time, having left the SC scene but I am curious, have some good memories. Anyone been there lately?

Somehow the spelling ended up Caberat? Well in the old days I did have some fun there. There was this dancer "Bobby Joe" about ten years ago at least. She moved on to that former SC in Carlsbad Springs and some time at the Dollar too. Then the last time I regularly frequented that place it must have been three years ago a skinny hottie by the name of Nicky. She moved on to the Dollar too. Neither have been seen although I have curtained the SC scene pretty much.

Ultimately there will remain a few, there is still a market, although much smaller. kind of like video stores Jumbo Video thrives, but gone are Blockbuster, Rogers, and many of the smaller independents. On the other hand the MA and SP business is booming!

Kind of like Jumbo Video. Most of the video rental shops are gone, however there still is a market, only smaller. That last visit to Cabaret kind of did it for me, and I assume many others as these places are fewer in numbers. Not only in Ottawa, but in Montreal too. Ironically the lapdance did them in. Lapdances were becoming more liberal all the time. So what the client asks himself if this is going on and it's starting to cost me over $100, why not visit an MA? It's cleaner, more discreet and I leave satisfied. And there is the risk factor too, there have been shootings at three clubs, a fire at another one etc. The massage parlor at least the licensed ones are a safer, more discreet and more satisfying environment,

Just curious if any others have experienced this? I seldom get a cold but now I have contacted two in the last month right after a visit to a MP. No mention of place it doesn't really matter. Just thinking could it be the DFK that's seems to be going on, and whose cold am I getting anyway? No complaints on the service but there seems to be a risk here.

It's the ultimate expression of passion and a personal thing that many reserve for their significant others. And that's the way many industry workers feel. But there are those who participate free-willingly, and yes I have been on the receiving end many times. The question always is who else is getting this special treatment? Are there some health issues to consider? Like who is the guy before you, and of course the sp herself. I had one health issue as a result of champagne room passion; these things do happen. But in the heat of the moment, we do strange things without considering the consequences.

The SC has faced stiffer competition from MA's etc. Their popularity is waning, reason for all the closures, not only in Ottawa but it happened in Montreal too. many of the gals have become MA's.

There is a new restaurant downstairs, when I pulled up I thought that the SC was gone. I cannot see another SC opening up, if anything the heydays of SC's are over as more and more disappear from the landscape. I have never seen more than five patrons there the last few times.

I will try to be objective here because I know that negative comments are not welcomed . But what's going on here? Dropped by at 3PM on a Friday, walked in no dancers, just the barmaid; who should be familiar to anyone who has visited this place. I think she's the owners wife. well into her senior years, well enough said. She was kind of inquisitive of my personal affairs, rambling on. I guzzled my beer and was out of there in five minutes. Is this place actually still operating as a SC? The signage has all but disappeared too.

What ever happenned to Tina, the Dominican spinner type? last spotted at Fanny's years ago, but a thread last year found her at Cabaret Canada Another was Nicki, a skinny hot type from Cabaret Canada and Silver Dollar? Third is Chaton, older MILF, hot in the CR?

Just returned from South Florida, and I will withhold the name of one of the most famous and posh hotels. Available to the public is the finest array of good looking women and their services. We are not talking streetwalkers here. There is a strong police and security presence and there is absolutely no intrusion by the authorities. Certainly more wide open than I have seen around here. There is open advertising of all services in the press on the internet. So these sweeping vague generalities of America are unjustified. America is a huge country and very diverse, we are not talking Utah here. As I have said previously there can be risks anywhere, have there not been any visits to body rub parlors in Ottawa-Gatineau?

SP's and MA's are just as bountiful and available pretty much anywhere in America. Like Canada it is tolerated too, and just like Canada there can be risks. A recent trip to Florida and New York too confirms that. Maybe in some bible county in Mississippi things are different. This thread has a bit of Canadian smugness to it.

The CR is all about fantasy and lust. Take it for what it is, an occasional visit once or twice a month. Girlfriends and wives provide true relationships. Yes, get some help and fast; you have an addiction that just may get you into real trouble.

Today Infinity had workers in there remodelling? Perhaps this place is gone although signs are there. Viva is a great place for haircut and good massage too. Classy place but pretty quiet.

Kind of on the way out of Embrun on the way to Casselman. I think it's been demolished. Talking about Casselman, has anyone been to Katrina's lately?

Has anyone mentioned safe sex? No only for the SP but for the client. Not to be prudish but this is true exchange of body fluids, and must rank high in the 'danger' zone.

I have seen this a few times, and attachments to a stripper have been fruitless. There is no future here or with any strippers ( as is usually the case). Enjoy the times you had in the CR, and move on to another one. Sounds like she wants nothing further so she's moved on.

The raid at Aqua, could have been at another MA, even in Ottawa as there have been visits. Whether it's the SC, MA, SP the line is kind of blurred as to what goes on. Been there, done that. The legalization of prostitution will clear the air, but that may take years. In the meantime it's not Las Vegas here. There are risks, be aware.

Some of this has already been said. Spas are public places, and the fear of being seen by someone you know is always there. Being a public place they are under more scrutiny fom the authorities than a private place. Are they licensed? What's going there? Are they reporting income, collecting HST etc., etc. A number of the spas have opened and closed, and even reopened. A few have been visited by the authorites. Do not be fooled that there is 'blind eye" For private MA's the same risks are there but not as much. There is the privacy factor.

The chance is always there. Without mentioning names a so called Body Rub was raided a couple of years back. Like anything else in this industry the laws are vague, or seldom regulated. But it's the chance one takes.

What with the homicide of one of the dancers at the adjacent motel last year, never seems to be many patrons here. Possibly the next place to shut its doors, a natural evolution of the demise of strip cubs in Ottawa-Gatineau. Sure a few will remain maybe a handful or so, as dancers can switch to other venues like MA and SP and so do their clients.

I agree it can be a pleasurable activity, but what about being protected? As usual you need to know your partner and your partner's sex activity with others. Maybe I'm a square but this activity like CIM requires protection.

Looking at some of the threads Cuba is not the place you want to be hobbying. Much safer to wait until you come home. Foreigners can end up in jail for these types of activities. Best to stay on the resorts and do not stray.

Months ago Chaton ( mentioned on Taboo) threads would be there on Fridays. A 'senior' in the business in her forties for sure, still a lovely gal with great CR experience. YMMV. Seems dancers come and go and rarely see the same one twice as I may drop by two or three times a year. Small town and low tech, think there still is a jukebox that the dancer would plug a loonie in! No hot water in the restroom either. Sort of the antithesis to Barbs.
