  1. I'm gonna take Brad's format, since I love lists!

    Something personal:

To stop procrastinating so much, study more, and spend more time outside with my dog. Also, I wish I could gain more weight, since I have lost a lot due to stress and my ass has disappeared :(

    Something general:

I would change the fact that it is socially acceptable and encouraged to rip other people apart for petty and mundane reasons.

    Something small:

Every big-box store should deliver, and for free (or a nominal $5 fee). Also, duckface must die.

    Something big:

    Political corruption and unfairness.

  2. Hey guys, I'm glad you brought that up! There is definitely a ton of ways to build and promote your business online and having your pictures plastered all over the place won't necessarily work for everyone. I know I've had my pictures stolen in the past and used on other websites that I didn't approve of, which caused me some unnecessary grief (a friend of mine saw them and showed them to my entire circle of friends, which basically "outted me" to everyone I'm close to). It always sucks when things like that happen, but you just need to be more careful and savvy. Plus it's a risk you have to take if you want to be open and out in the world. Nothing on the internet ever dies, so you have to be sure of what you're putting out there.

On the other hand, though, because the technology now has made it so easy to create a nice looking website and there are many cheap options available for people to get up and running I would have thought that more SPs would take advantage of the tools available to them. That's why I was asking for opinions from hobbyists and SPs alike. Cool subject and food for thought!

  3. I had a gentleman leave his wallet out on the table one time and almost walk out without it. After I had pointed it out, I told him "In the future, you may want to keep your wallet in your pocket, because you never know."

I would never get offended if a man wanted to keep his wallet or other personal belongings within eye/arm reach, or keep it hidden. When I do outcalls, I always keep my purse within view, and if I use the washroom I bring it with me. I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all. If an SP or Hobbyist alike get offended by that, I think that would flash warning bells moreso than the other way around. There is an element of trust to every encounter, sure, but nobody wants to take an unnecessary risk. When you cross the street, you look both ways, don't you?

  4. Hey all! Been a long time since I've been around these parts, but I thought I might welcome myself back by starting a discussion. lol.

    For hobbyists:

    - Do you like it better when an SP has a website/web presence of some sort?

    - How does a website impact your decision about whether or not to see the SP, if at all?

    - Do you enjoy perusing a site dedicated to just one girl and her likes/dislikes, pictures, etc, or does it make a difference?

    For SPs:

    - Do you feel it's important to have your own website, or do you just use CERB?

    - What are your reasons for/against having one?

Okay I think that about wraps it up, super interested to hear your input!

  5. Thank you all so much for discussing this! I am aiming to use this in order to build credit, maybe buy a home in the future, etc, so this is all very helpful information. I may just take the advice and speak with an accountant directly.

Thank you for all of the advice everyone!

  6. Okay, so I can claim it as self employed, which is fine... but how do you go about declaring and showing proof for an all-cash business? Obviously there aren't receipts or a pay-role for me to say "This is where my money is coming from, here's proof". I guess this is where "keeping books" comes into play? The money going into my bank account I guess would be proof enough?

  7. Just curious how many of you out there are "legit" (as in you have a registered business and pay taxes and consider this job your "real job") and how you went about it. A friend and I were discussing the possibilities, and I am curious.

If you don't want to reply so publicly, please feel free to inbox me. I am hoping to learn!

  8. Holy craaap! I am anxious to hear what happened, but since you are posting here, I am assuming that you are okay and safe now. I am hoping you weren't hurt!

Thank you so much for posting this for all of us... Sometimes we feel anxious to speak up or follow our instincts, blowing it off as being "paranoid" or "overreacting". Thanks for the reminder that predators can come from ANYWHERE, wearing ANY face and we need to follow our gut and know when to ask for help.

  9. Hey everyone!

Not sure if this is the right place to put this or if this should be in the "Tech Corner" section...

I am just wondering if there is any way to change the picture that shows up beside a Recommendation thread? The pic on mine is very old and from when I first started, and I feel like it doesn't portray the kind of service I offer. I would really like to change it, but am unsure how or if I am even able to?

Any help on this would be REALLY appreciated. Thank you so much!!!

  10. Really good sex!

    Also...

... a hot bath or shower

    ... herbal tea

... a walk, run or jog

... stay away from computers, the tv, or anything bright (brightness tricks your mind into thinking it's daytime and therefore tries to keep you awake and alert)

... read something super boring or listen to slow music (I like ambient, downtempo and chillout stuff)

    ... meditate

    ... breathing exercises

  11. I've learned...

... that there is no shame in being an SP.

... that I have a responsibility to myself to explore my sexuality.

... that I am not as shy as I once believed ;)

... there are amazing people in this industry- not the stereotype.

... this business is a lot more organized and respectful than I may have once assumed.

    ... it's a helluva lot of fun!
