  3. Hi everyone! I am an independent massage provider from Pembroke. I recently moved to Ottawa. I am looking to start seeing clients again a few nights per week. I now have the option of using my private living space to take in-calls. I am wondering whether ladies out there who work from home have any advice on how to keep safe, managing clients who may have problems understanding or accepting personal boundaries and so on? Any massage providers out there taking in-calls at their personal home in the Ottawa area? What are your experiences? xoxo K
  4. I got the Gardasil also. As several ladies have already mentioned above, Gardasil protects against most (most common) strains of HPV. I found that my health care provider was very up front about what the vaccine does and does NOT do. In no way would I say that my family doctor or the clinic oversold or pushed Gardasil, nor did they provide information that seemed skewed/biased or false. I do have friends in the industry who have contracted HPV and although it is possible to live quite normally with it, it can also be a very serious obstacle to operating effectively in the business and feeling good doing it. I think that taking STIs seriously and doing what we can to minimize the harm associated with them can only help the industry grow in a healthier way (not to speak of reducing the stigma still attached to it) K
  5. I do lol get bored and ...rub things. I am sure I'm not the only one :)

  8. Hi everyone I am brand new to LYLA:) This is my first post yay! I am pretty new to massage too and could use the input of more experienced ladies (and those who love them of course!). I just moved and am unable to take incalls at my place. I have to stay put here for the time being so I can't move right now. Up until now I've been able to drive everywhere. Soon I won't have regular access to a vehicle though... which means I will have to cab most places (I bring my own table with me too). So now I am worried that my clientele might be stuck waiting longer for me to arrive, I might not be able to get by keeping my rates as modest as they currently are etc. Does anyone out there have any tips for how to deal with transportation issues like this? How do I talk to my clients about it? Should I narrow the area serviced so I can stay closer to home?? Any advice would be amazing! xoxo c
