Nothing is wrong per se, I’m just not willing to go out of my way to worry about and hide that phone when many MAs here and other sites use the well known apps that give both parties the comfort. In fact, the very reason why certain apps were invented were to make life easier. Anyhow, each to their own. No right or wrong, just preferences. 

For GChrome and others asking about it in the future, this is what mod posted on July 26 in the thread Greenteal just referred to.

While there are many that I’d like to list, I’m curious to see some of the features some of you like about the new Lyla.  I love the fact that we can click on a selection of activities (I usually pick all) without even logging in.  It allows us to make an easier decision about logging in at that moment or later. 

What are the features some of you like?

I second the go team lyla comment. Besides, many of us are coming in to help time to time. For heavens sake the other day somebody was freaking out at Mod about pictures when for the past few years other MAs And Providers all over the country could have screenshot from their phones or print-screen from the computer. I forget who it was nor do I care, but I know in my heart of hearts some people don’t even know about phone screenshots. The proof is in the way the discussion went. Anyway, everyone should chill out and let the powers that be do their stuff, and anyone who doesn’t like it, the exit door is close by. Be polite when asking for help, especially when the price is right.

Of course, you’re absolutely right. Has to feel comfortable by both parties, which is why I don’t ever influence somebody to change their protocol. Do what’s right for you. I just want to be sure new people and those that don’t know what’s available to them don’t hang on extreme dos and don’ts. As for answering your question, screening from my end is not difficult, especially since I look at many other sites to cross reference  who I’m going to see next for massage, wether it’s here or the many other sites available. If our protocols fit together, then it’s a go. Never had too much back and forth. Have a great day 

Kendra Dee. Welcome!  I’m glad it’s the short communication that concerns you. Unlike others, I don’t mind writing publicly about texting apps. There’s been way too much of a divide on this issue and quite frankly people sneak their agendas in every other post when the original question has nothing to even do with texting apps (not referring to this one per se). The constant mention of it isn’t just about security, it comes from a lack of understanding. I went through pages giving different scenarios and even though two providers kept pressing about it, many others understand it. It’s simple. There are apps that use different numbers from the actual phone number. That may cause concern for you, which I understand. The ones that use the same exact phone number as their phone are fine. If you really have to, ask the person through their app if you can call them regular style by punching in that same phone number and dialing. Then you will know it’s the same person who just called you using the app (same voice and same conversation from moments ago via app etc). The reason why some of us use these apps is because they don’t appear on the electronic phone bill like texts and calls. Having said that, when we receive that call from a provider, we keep it real quick and say “wrong number called our phone” if we are questioned about it. The duration of the call appears on the electronic which is why some of us have to be ultra quick. Most who are getting to know the right apps to use trust us senior members and won’t even put us through a call that appears on the electronic bill. There is way to much negative influence from people who don’t have the right apps or lack the understanding (not referring to anyone specifically). I will agree with Nicki on the security and time wasters etc, but I won’t relate them just/specifically to texting apps. They come in all forms. I respect Nicki given her comprehensive thoughts on many issues, but I doubt we will agree on this one any time soon. Having said that, others who have disagreed on this issue have come to learn about the right apps and come to the new side of staying with the times and still having both the provider’s security and our privacy protected.

There are some out there who cannot stay technologically advanced or even on par with most of the world. I am compassionate towards that, but when a couple people receive very good help and don’t take the next step to realize how effecitve the help can be or don’t have the mental capacity to understand, it starts to feel old, especially when they continue to push their agendas,

likely out of embarrassment because they clearly haven’t grasped the situation, rather, go on board with others who are also flailing at what they are trying to accomplish. 

PMs and expectations won’t outweigh how comfortable an MA/provider feels with different individuals, hence YMMV. Take care gentlemen. 

No worries. Thinking it was 2-3 weeks ago. I actually wrote a reco for that individual in this new lyla anyway, to replace the one I don’t see anymore. In any case, do what you do best in case it helps out others.  From the response and reaction, seems I’m not the only one. Well, as I navigate and learn this new look and feel for Lyla, I’d like to take the time to repeat my last “notable” action from the old Lyla. I cannot find it and Breath Taking Vivian is certainly somebody who massage lovers should get to know. Booking was easy and the session was playful and easy going. So glad I went to see her. A decision you know is right, from the moment it begins. Thx so much Vivian  🙂

I’m sure this has to do with the new look and feel, but reality is, I was communicating with somebody and then on the same topic I tried looking for a certain reco that I made wrt Breath Taking Vivian, and I can’t find it. I know it was successfully added under the old version before the switch over. Has anybody had the same experience recently?

Are the 17s you are looking for meant for a car or an SUV/light truck? Also, it matters wether you are looking for runflat tires or not. The question at the moment seems pretty open but getting those two bits of info will narrow down a price real easily for you : )

I went ahead and researched a medium sized generic vehicle that takes 17s to give you a starting point. You will pay mid to high $100s per tire, unless you know somebody who can get you a deal. As mentioned above, online research is great as well.

 

and here we go again, with a site that the main and long time users feel a need to step up and defend, just as we did for CL, and just as we did up until a month ago for BP. it is literally the only viable option for former CL and BP users right now, and i pretty much get fed up with the naysayers who want to try to undermine its use for those who are not really doing that well, and do not have the option to send in their ID to book hundred dollar ads on EROS or 100s on review site advertisers, or whatever else the part time uncertain times providers who have normally relied on BP or CL to muddle along.

 

 

we've seen people use stolen pics on their ads here, i've seen them used on an 'erb' site a few years ago, and not just once, and by a paid advertiser.

Two raw but true observations, and quite frankly better it come from an SP than a client so to speak.

A nice long drive just may be what the doctor ordered. Probably the best way to slow things down and turn what could be an annoying situation into a great weekend.
