    Explicit or negative reviews of Providers are dehumanising. They are incredibly personal, can be written as a means to attack/out someone and are often full of misogynistic language. That is a big reason why many ask to be on the DND list, because seeing explicit reviews on someone's personality, body etc. on a public website, with other people jumping in to discuss you, can be horrific to read. 

    If you don't like the fact that we only allow respectful recommendations, no one is forcing you to sign in!

    I just want to testify that usernametaken is one of the most respectable members. He never was disrespectful when talking about any lady who offers massage services. On the contrary , he was always defending their rights and asking for discretion

    Since it's in school, they have to go through the entire speach every single time. From explaining potential benefits and side effects of a massage, detailing their massage plan to you, talking about consent and ability to revoke consent, etc. Etc. The whole experience is nothing like visiting an RMT in a clinic. 

     

    Part of the speach, that they are all trained to say is "undress to your comfort level, however I will be able to provide a better treatment with skin to skin contact" and they flow right into the ability to revoke consent at any point if feeling uncomfortable or for any reason. If fully nude were not acceptable, this part of the speach would not exist. 

    I agree 100%. I had a massage in a renowned professional clinic . I asked the RMT about that. Her answer - Whatever you feel more comfortable. I can handle both ways-. And it was the first time with me. No problems at all.

    I've been there a couple of times now. I'll try to use a metaphor. Imagine you found a place that makes poutine. The potatoes are organic, peeled with all care to not damage any single part of that. They are cut in perfect and equal shapes. The oil is at the exact temperature to fry them  slowly, keeping tender inside and crispy outside. Then the chef gives to you and you need to fry the potatoes and put the cheese crumbs and the gravy by yourself. However, it's getting better. Maybe one day I will leave with a grin

    I didn't make any negative comment about the reputation of the place. I explained " Last thread about this place was deleted because of overshared information. " 

    It means, be careful about sharing  names, services, etc... that happened before

    Same o' same o' there. Owner using 2 names. She and more 2 doing massage (the last time was like that). Different styles but you would be back. Just be careful. Last thread about this place was deleted because of overshared information.
