Definition of a Rose

Recommended Posts

This might be a little naive on my part, but if someone says something is 1 rose, is it $50(I always though it was as our $50 bills are pink), or is $100?

Around these parts (pei) roses is just used in place of dollars. For example 160 roses one hour 500 roses min overnight. That is what I was seeing on ads when I was starting to look into doing this.

this definitely wasn't a single dollar/rose, otherwise it would be very inexpensive:)

Moons got it right. Generally 1 rose = 1 dollar.

I was quoted 1 rose for a 1/2 hour, 2 for an hour, so it's definately not 1 rose = 1 dollar

In that case I can't see it being a 50 either unless it's cheaper then here. I would think Ottawa SPs would be getting a better rate then me on pei lol. Perhaps it's 1 rose for 100?

I agree. Based on the market rates, it is reasonable to assume she means 1 rose = $100 in her case.

If you are communicating by email perhaps share the link for this thread? Then she could discover this wonderful page and answer this question herself lol.
