  1. 1. Hosting Locations

    • Based on the Escorts Reputation, would you visit?
    • Based on the Ecsorts Reputation regardless how great, would you visit?
    • Would you visit an Escorts location on North Street?
    • Would you not visit an Escort based on location only?

I would go nearly anywhere in Halifax or Dartmouth to meet a reputable lady. I will not go to Brule, Jackson, Primrose, Kennedy or Churchill streets. Even more important then the area is the lady's apartment or house. I have walked if when the door opened the place reeked and was filthy dirty. Parking is also important to me...

I've been doing some in-depth research on Dartmouth and the unsavory locations such as the ones mentioned in the warning sections and fly-by-night horror stories.

I must say that if the lady is reputable, established and has recommendations the hosting location would be safe, clean, warm and welcoming. Now with that said locations in Dartmouth that are not located in the "warning/unsavory" areas should be just fine to visit. The opposite end/direction of the North side and streets mentioned, I would say and have been told by numerous clients that they are totally secure visiting any of those locations and some have and do visit locations mentioned as areas to avoid without any issues, it boils down to research and choosing an escort wisely and they accept the booking. Whether the location is in Halifax or Dartmouth, a reputable escort will not risk her status by inviting a client in to filth and an unwelcoming location.

It does sadden me that Dartmouth still carries the stereotypes and stigma from the select "bad" areas and locations. It is 2015 and I'm a Halifax born and raised lady and I don't get it, no matter where you go in any city/province there will be places people call "bad" areas and that is just a fact of life and very upsetting.

I think many clients are missing out on meeting amazing escorts because of the stigma Dartmouth has but I have found many lovely locations that anyone would feel at ease visiting so I think it's time for a change and speak openly with the escort you wish to meet and many will be forth coming and very open who host in Dartmouth and their locations just may shock and delightfully surprise you and surpass your expectations.

As the old saying goes "Don't judge a book by it's cover"!

Dartmouth has come along way and the locations I've seen are phenomenal.

There you have it, now what you choose to do with the research and information I have discussed is up to you.

For me I would base my decision on the escort and the communication you have when seeking information and booking,

Just some friendly advice!

Hugs,

Lexy

I'm a Dartmouth guy through and through, and I'll defend it to any of the Dartmophobic Haligonians. ;) That being said, there are still a few areas that I have learned through experience to avoid with unknown ladies. It is a different story of course of the lady is known and has a reputation. When I say I avoid some of these places, I'm talking about toftt situations. The few times I have broken these rules did not lead me to "safe clean warm welcoming

locations." I'm not sure you understand the nature of some of these specific areas mentioned with this description. We are not talking about generalizing huge geographic locations either. We are talking about a few specific groups of buildings on a few specific streets. We all have to do what we can on both sides of this industry to ensure our own safety and comfort. If I miss the odd hidden gem, then so be it. Anything I can do to help ensure my safety, I must do.

Mikeyboy from the Dark side, (I hope that term is not offensive) I knew you lived there as you told me a long time ago actually I think it's quite beautiful there in certain areas.

Oh do I ever fully understand the nature of these specific areas/streets, building and all the goings on. I live in Halifax lol, same crap just different locations.

Those Dartmouth streets and areas I will not venture to for sure and I'm not from there, not a good combo.

I have a number of regular clients in Dartmouth, family and friends and they leave out nothing and always give the scoop and I read what goes on in said places that gets posted online too.

I do have a trusty list of streets to avoid and stay safe.

You must stick to your rules and stay safe. It is both parties choice in how to remain safe by making wise decisions.

If you miss a gem, another will appear for sure but never compromise your safety.

In those few areas do avoid the unknown ladies, do your research and read the warning sections. We like you and want no harm to come your way and you have a gold mine and diamonds right here!!:icon_wink:

I actually went to Halifax to work once. It was a personal vacation, and if I could see a gent or two, perfect, however, if I didn't, no big deal.

I was travelling with my dog, so limited on hotels. I found one in Dartmouth, and made a reservation. However, once I got there, I was like, no way, I will not stay there. I drove around, and found a beautiful hotel just 5 minutes away from the one I was going to stay at. 100% difference in the two hotels. Spent the weekend there, had a blast, and enjoyed myself.

However, some of the guys that called me were like, No, I won't travel to Dartmouth. No big deal to me, as I was having a great time. For those that did come to see me, they were surprised at the hotel and that it was nice. It was a chain, so the standards are the same for each location.

So, yes, Dartmouth seems to have a bad reputation. I'm not from NS, so don't know all the ins and outs. However, my one experience staying at a hotel there, is yes, there is a difference that is like night and day within the same block. Funny, the nice hotel, was only $20 more per night then the dive I originally booked.

Good luck beautiful!

The thing about a city this size is that the nice areas and the. ....well less nice areas are often quite close together geographically so it helps to know the area.

You will certainly find a lot of anti Dartmouth sentiment on the Halifax side. I think some of them were scared by a bridge as children which might explain their irrational fears ; ) It would likely be easier to entice a Dartmouth resident to the Halifax side than the other way around from a business perspective. Most Dartmouth people are used to traveling to the Halifax side. Just an observation. A generalization of course but seems to often be the case based on my own friends and family.

Another proud "darksider" here. :) Lived in Dartmouth much of my life and am happy to do so. It is funny how many people from across the harbour act like crossing the bridge is entering a different country. You can get to downtown Halifax from Dartmouth faster than you can many places within Halifax itself!

And yes, there are good and less reputable streets on both sides of the bridge. But as others have said, I put much more stock into the reputation and communication of a lady than any worries about location.

Here's my take on it. I don't fear any area of Halifax for my personal safety, but I don't want to have a great experience and come back to my car and find it broken into or missing. That would be a disaster I don't need. Safe, secure and if possible; discrete parking is a priority for me. I'm not leaving my car on Highfield park drive or Creighton st. Options like that would make up my mind for me.

The location should make you feel comfortable, safe and secure enough to leave your car but car theft happen anywhere, for example the Walmart parking lot but I do agree with you and would not feel comfortable leaving my car on Highfield park drive or Creighton st. but with that said my cousin who owns a new Cadillac Escalade and his wife a new Cadillac car, lived for a year in Highfield and not a single thing happened to their vehicles and he is a mechanic and regular guy with a regular job from Halifax who knew not a soul but he felt safe but was really not concerned about himself, he cared more for the vehicles (he's a good man all around), the rent was good as the car payments were more then the rent but he loves his vehicle and instead of buying shoes or games he buys all the gadgets for his escalade.

You just never can tell regardless of a locations reputation if and what could happen but I refuse to live my life in fear but I am safe and very cautious where I travel and streets I take. I am embarrassed to admit this but stereotypes exist and I am guilty of giving in to some of them and even as an escort I am stereotyped and discriminated against but all I can do is show I'm a great, trusted, sweet, genuine, fun and intelligent companion and who would never compromise anyone's privacy or safety. Any location I choose will be welcoming, very clean, comfortable and safe to visit and bring your vehicle.

Additional Comments: This is not advertising in the last sentences, it is simply stating my experience and location I would choose to keep all secure, safe and comfortable.

In my early days I wouldn't care about location. However, I did run into situations in both Halifax and Dartmouth back then where the incall location was a poor choice. It was too exposed and the neighbors were nosy. I've been to locations where the neighbors "knew" what was going on and gave me looks. Yes, I could have pretended to be an insurance broker or lawyer but that wouldn't have made a difference to the neighbors opinion. Most neighbors know or suspect if you are using your home for in call as the foot traffic is usually a dead giveaway. Maybe a large apartment or condo building would be less obvious than a house but when that elevator bell rings on that floor I'm still wondering how many people are looking through their peep hole to see who's going to Candy's place.

Although I don't partake much anymore, decent hotels are my preferred incall with a few exceptions where her private residence is not overly exposed.

p.s. I too am a Dartmouth resident and the downtown area is undergoing a revitalisation that is making it a preferred option for house and condo hunters. Plus, you're a 5 minute ferry ride to downtown Halifax. I came to Dartmouth from another province so I never did understand those prejudices that might have been relevant 30+ years ago.
