Best website options for providers

Recommended Posts

I have always had an interest in technology and have some background in it including creating websites. I am very curious how and why SPs chose their website presence. Did you hire a designer? Is it worth paying for professional design? Did you do it yourself? I see a lot of free website creation sites specifically for SPs. Would you use one of these or would any free web service do just as well? Is there a down side to using one of the site services specifically directed to SPs? What factors do you consider?

I use an escort based website for a few reasons. It's an easy template to set up. The customer service is excellent, and it's free. I can pay to upgrade if I wanted to (no ad's if I upgrade). It also gives me reports on my traffic, and seeds my name for me.

I have heard some issues with those using some non-escort sites for their free site. Due to adult content, they have to remove their content. Not sure how widespread this is, but it is a concern if you've gone through the trouble to set something up, just to have to remove it because someone has reported the content.

I know some create their own with their own domain. However, I have no knowledge, so can't help you out there.

easyXsites.com is an adult hosting and very simple to set up :)

besides you can try escort.biz with extra fee, they will remove the ads.

My site is a self hosted Wordpress install. I purchased and customized a template, but my previous site design used a free template.

I like hosting my own site as I have control and ownership of my domain and all my content.

I also have a self-hosted WordPress site, with a premium theme that I customized. :)

Originally I had a professional design a really great site for me, which is totally worth it and a good option for a lot of people, if you hire someone you know is reputable. But I quickly decided to learn how to do it myself, because I wanted the ability to tinker with it often, without having to get someone else do it all the time. I also tried a couple of the those third-party platform sites, but I felt too much like I was at the mercy of them. I also felt constrained because of their limited design options, and in the end they deleted my site because of "inappropriate content". I quickly gave up with the third party platforms and decided to do it all myself on my own terms, in a way where I would have full control. I love my self-hosted WordPress site, and I have learned a lot along the way with it.

Great job Emily and like you said self-hosted is not for everyone Wordpress does have a huge learning curve and remember to always back up your core files and database because without it you are dead in the water if something goes wrong. But once mastered you can design just about any site. I am a web developer the sites I design are much more complicated then the average WP template based sites which incorporate custom php scripts and ecommerce design.

Having tried all of it now (wordpress theme, building my own website), self hosted, hosted by 3rd party etc. I am now back to working again with Veda Designs run by Tara. She is a web developer specializing in stylish, functional and elegant websites exclusively for adult entertainers. I have seen fellow companions using her services as well.

I'm particularly fond of her CMS option that allows you to manage your own text, gallery photo, calendar, mailing list, blog without too much hassle etc.

She's offering a variety of services for different budget

Templates, Semi or full custom which is pretty reasonable.

She's a good option if you're looking for a beautiful, professional website but lack the skills or time to do it yourself. Personally, I lack the time these days.

@Bretton Woods, you might want to check Veda Designs and escortdesign for inspiration/ideas.

If you are:

- Creative

- Understand what professional companions need (for their website, and can make it simple and easy for them)

- Able to deliver and exceed expectations

- Able to meet the deadline

- Responsive and offer great service so they will recommend you

Then you will be fine. I believe there's a good demand for website developers and escort websites seems to be a profitable niche too. Girls are always looking for new ways to stand out ;)

I'd love to learn how to use Wordpress to make a website but I really don't have the time to do it.

I use simdif pro version and it's 60 a year then I pay for the domain and privacy protection on mydomain.com

Totally worth it! I'm pretty sure they are aware of the adult content on my site as I have spoken with both simdif and mydomain for tech support.

Simdif is a basic set up but pretty easy to use I love it

I can edit from the simdif app on my phone or use the simdif website on my browser

My only issue I have with it is I can't link photos to other sites, so no posting banners for other sites I guess. And they refuse to add the option.

The best is to host your own site with an verified adult friendly provider, I am in the process of looking into this as well. I looked at hostgator.com and have not found AUP that says no adult.
