Other's like Chalmydia, Gonorrhea, BV and HPV are cured with a couple of pills and that's it, but Herpe's is not.

HPV is not always curable and can not only lead to warts, but cancer of the jaw bone, penis, anus, vagina or cervix... other strains cause HIV-like symptoms.

I know of a couple friends who have developed cervical cancer by contracting very serious strains of HPV.

I thinks threads like this keeps popping up because people are forever being misinformed about things.

Like HIV 'cures' in China or that you can't catch anything from bbbj... I'm always surprised at how little people seem to know about STDs/STIs.

I completely agree. In spite of actual info out there too, there are a lot of people who seem very clueless about it all. There is a reason one of the highest group of people getting AIDS and other STDs in the past couple of years are seniors. There is a reason why one of the highest groups of infection of chlamydia is in 15-22 year olds.

I am also a bit concerned about a POV where because a pill will fix it, it is OK lol. A pill can fix some STDs, but as a sex worker who depends on working or being available 7 days a week, how much time are you willing to take off it/when you do get something.

I have no confidence that guys seeing escorts (or guys in general lol) are getting regular testing. I would be surprised if even half of them who see escorts have ever been tested in their lives, and of the half left over, they may have only been tested once after some kind of a scare. The reality is that sps on the receiving end, and due to sheer volume of visitors, are at much higher risk of contracting something than a client getting that bbbj from her. Testing in this case needs to be throat swabs. When is the last time you had one of those, during regular std checkups from the family doctor.

The only defense sps really have is to provide services that increase their safety from stds, not give them more exposure to it lol. A decade ago, sps rarely offered anything GFE, guys wouldn't expect or ask for it. Many guys who've been doing this for a long time still won't partake in those activities. Bottom line is they may view escorts as being more prone to stds, but if they choose not to expose themselves, that is the best line of defense that they have for themselves.

I think the OP should be left alone to bring up the subject. I also hope that she realizes that advertising can affect perception, and the use of certain terms when services that are associated with those terms are not provided is akin to false advertising. If you say "open minded", it means next to nothing, so guys will continue to ask if that means you offer kissing, daty, or bbbjs. Making ads with specific information will help resolve the issue and reduce the questions and requests.

Angel, one thing I might ask since you've opened Pandora's box is, you don't offer any BB services but do you allow DATY without a dental dam? Is this not resulting in the exchange of bodily fluids as well?

Well, fist off and formost, i would like to explain something to everyone. I am not saying doing this is wrong! im just wondering how people go about it nowadays. I really appreciate Berlins post on here which says how she goes about it, thank you Berlin, i thought that was a huge help.

I used to do BB as well a few years back, so i am not trying to preach. When i stopped doing BBanything, i did not normally offer DATY either, and when i did, yes i always had dental dams. But ive always offered GFE which is also an exchange of bodily fluids as well. ive never had a problem with that. so, i guess thats kind of ironic as well

As for DATY now, yes i still offer it, without dental dams now, but usually not to people i just meet, if i get to know someone for a little while, and they keep asking for it, then yeah

What would you do if a guy asked for a CBJ and told you he has an S.T.D....would you still do him?

I would not see him, I'd be greatly appreciative that he has informed me but I would decline. With that being said in my opinion a guy with an STD is not likely to reveal this information. Anyone with an STD if treatable should have it taken care of prior to arranging an encounter. In regards to life long untreatable STD's I strongly believe that you should never put anyone's life in danger and take every precaution not to do so or just don't arrange encounters. Life is too valuable to bust a nut or make money.

In my mind' date=' if you don't know their health status they may as well have an STD.[/quote']

And further to that you never know their health status, so every single person who shows up may as well have an std.

In some places a visual check is required before appts, like at brothels in Nevada and Australia. Covered everything, when the work is regulated the first thing that happens is safety regulations. And that means condoms for bjs, dams for daty.

imo, if a country that regulates this industry, brings in Occupational Health and Safety regulations to deal with workers' safety. If the general policy is bbbjs are not permitted, then it must be because they are known to endanger the health and safety of the worker. In this case, I am really more concerned about my own health and safety than I am concerned about whether the client would prefer a bbbj over a cbj when the results are the same: he is getting a bj lol. And most likely, he is not getting a bj at home lol, covered or uncovered (tho I would hazard a guess that more SOs at home would provide bjs if they were covered lol.

Yes, I would. I don't discriminate against s.t.d's and find if I'm using a rain-coat :condom:, I'm prepared for the weather. :):bj:

I hear what you're saying' date=' Pete, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect there to be one thread on each topic for the "life" of this forum. It's also often considered poor board etiquette to bump an old thread.[/quote']

I think that applies to the adds and reco'a only!

Additional Comments:

I just wanted to say this,

Isn't it fun when you need to defend your post all the time?

I have been there!

But I need to agree with Pete, TO EACH THIER OWN!

What if your coat has defect? If the rain got through as I am sure it has happened to many, what then?

No takebacks!

I'm sure this has happened. This is a risk that is part of life and this industry and is very minimal. Nothing is 100%. WHIMIS teaches us that all materials are possibly infectious or contaminated and to take precautions every-time. OH and always read closely the material safety data sheet. Remember Safety, safety, safety :)

here's a new one STHIMIS (Sex Trade Hazardous Materials Information System)

Well, this is a brand new cutting edge modernized and pleasurized information system. It would take years of research and studies and lot's of new video to achieve great results and data to formulate the STHIMIS data base, Volunteers? Otherwise, donations are accepted for intense hyper-focused research.Together, we can go forth and DO IT! Thank You :bigclap::jackoff:

These are the risks WE take being in this industry! Who are we to judge anyone, but oursleves??

I just want to clarify, that I do not take sexual health lightly. It is a big deal! Even tho a simple cocktail of antibiotics can cure SOME, not all STI's, I dont believe people should not worry if they catch something or not.
