Anyone who wants to charge SP service to a credit card is an idiot and probably a scammer, and you can be sure you will never get/keep the moneys charged, especially through paypal. If you had a pinpad with a chipcard reader, you might get away with it, but you would need a legitimate business with a service/product and will have to have a bank account, GST number, PST number, and claim income for tax purposes.

Anyone who actually deals in anything but cash for these quasi legal services deserves to be caught and charged. If/when a SP gets busted, there will be records of cards charged, and LE is just dying to find something like this...

If there was a safe and legal method for using non cash devices for these kinds of purchases, every SW would have an interact machine.

rubintugger, you're being a bit harsh, I think.

I have accepted credit cards in the past and have never had any difficulty with the clients or with PayPal. As I said, earlier, I think I may have simply been lucky. I no longer accept CCs and don't recommend it to anyone.

Please reconsider your subscription to stereotypes about how paid companions account for their income. Most of us do declare our earnings on our tax returns and those who make enough also remit GST/HST. I do, though it's a real headache!

Keep in mind, too, that it is perfectly legal to exchange sex for money in Canada. The circumstances and location are subject to legal restrictions, however, and a paid companion cannot legally pay someone to work for her, nor can she support anyone else on her income. If she can find a way to work around these restrictions, collecting a fee for sex is legal.

Also, companions do sometimes provide company in exchange for things other than money. We're often offered things like cars, condominiums, townhouses, jewellery and other goods. Some of us accept such offers; some of us don't.

Lastly, I would personally appreciate it if you could avoid making shots about women who work outdoors, on the streets. Not only is it unfair, especially if you don't know any of them, but it's a bit bloody-minded, in my opinion. For many reasons, street workers have the fewest choices and also work in the most dangerous conditions. I hope a gentleman would feel compassion and concern, not disdain, for street workers, whether he partakes of their company or not.

Major agreement on this point.

Thru an unusual set of circumstances, when I first got to Canada, I would spend my Wednesday evenings in conversation with SWs. I was fortunate enough to learn a lot about the hows, whys, and what-abouts of the women who took the time to talk with me even though I made it clear I was not a customer.

I agree with both rubintugger and samantha evans. .

I do think it is kind of somthing you should be carefull of with the whole paper trail thing when it comes to credit cards /debit. Especially if the wife or significant other checks the mail. I think that rubintugger is trying to say that it could be sketchy for both parties. The girl could get ripped off if the guy decides to cancel the transcation and the guy could have problems with the paper trail.

I think that alot of women in this biz take debit and credit to cater to EVERYONE. That is why and it is all about the trust and the reputation. I think if the girl has a rep for being honest than there shouldn't be an issue.

Alot of us pay our taxes and basically if it wasn't for the city and province . This could be a legit thing. The only thing that doesn't make us "legal" is that we don't have a license.

If you have ever tried to apply for a license to escort , you would understand . The city expects you to get a zoning license ( 1200 $) and they have to approve of the location. Then you have to pay for the actual license ( 5000) and every year after it's 1500. Then you have to post a notice outside the approved loctaion to notify the public that you are hosting an escort service out of that location . Finally you have to go publically in front of a commitee of city officals to plead you case of why you want to do this. This is only for a private escort license not a agency. I don't know to many sp's who have to time or want to go through all that.

Last but not least. I agree that this whole SW bashimg isn't unfair. I knew alot of girls who worked the streets and up untill 5 years ago you could go to the mount and the exchange and find girls who were dressed to nines anfd stiil charged 150 200.

Alot of those girls are underage , exploited and addicted to drugs. It's very sad but they are still people who have lives and some of those girls go missing and dead. Look at the latest few that most likley dies from working on the streets. The last one was 19 .
