Looking to come travel to Winnipeg. Just wondering if someone can recommend any hotels that are central and dont require elevator keys. A few suggestions would be much appreciated!

I would recommend The Delta or The Hotel Fort garry. they are not that bad for rates and do not need a elevator key.

I'm with Tina. The Delta or Fort Garry. Both downtown, well known, easy access, no elevator key, good restaurant/lounge/bar on-site, both have pool/work out facilities. Fort Garry is old style CP railway hotel quite charming and well maintained. Nice comfy beds. Delta has been well maintained. Has an Elephant & Castle pub in lobby and downtown mall is across the street. To me either are good choices. Humphrey's is a scale down. No restaurant. A little like Holidy Inn Express with so called continental breakfast in the morning. Plus side is it is across the street from Earls and everyone knows about Wpg Earl's Girls.

I would go with Delta or Fort Garry.

How about the Clarion at Polo Park? A short walk from shopping and restaurants and it has nice rooms.

Thanks so much for everyones input. How is Winnipeg on hotel incalls? Has anyone had any problems with vice or any tips one can share? I am still kind of learning the ropes, and rather be safe then sorry!!
