There is a very down side to Reflections and that it is very dirty and it stinks, really stinks. Best time in Halifax and as long as you keep your clothing on you will have a blast at Cheers, feeling a little more rowdy venture downstairs to The Dome. Friends have mine do get laid individually from time to time as well, but it takes a very different approach then a lot of other bars. On a Friday and Saturday night it is probably only about 20-30% gay/lesbian/transexual and the rest are straight or Bi, so you do have decent chance. But once I get a liter of red wine in me I feel like dancin', and at least at a gay bar I'm not the only older fella bouncing around on the dancefloor like an idiot. I don't want to hang out where all the folks are my age, that's just depressing; and I don't want to hang out where everybody is barely legal, that's even more depressing.
