I'm not into "stuff" so I'll put the money towards more travel...I'd go as far as I could with the $10K. Mongolia is on my list so I'd head there first, then to Ireland and then the Netherlands.

I'd spend 3000 - 5000 on camera equipment ... at least one big ass telephoto lens. The rest on travel, hopefully with a lady for company.

Travel, travel, travel. Start in Southeast Asia, and then China, and then possible up to Russia and get the Trans-Siberian Express and end up in Europe.

 

Or maybe start in Europe and do it the other way around... who knows?

I would donate some money to charity of my choice and then take one nice trip to somewhere I've always wanted to go with someone special. Depending on if there was any money left, I'd buy some new furniture, or more clothes and definitely a 60" flat screen for my finished basement.
