The Herald Girls

Recommended Posts

There are much worse media to use; classifieds published in "The Paper" (as Bluenosers call it) are at least paid for by the advertiser, yes?

That is a very good point. This does present some credibility. However, Cerb is free, and transparency is optional rather than restricted.

Anyone who advertises in the CH obviously has to follow their content policy, so no -- you will not find transparently "juicy" come-ons or lurid photos in the ads of the CH. This fact is a simple function of the newspaper's content policy, so it is not necessarily an indictor of "blood-curdling" "400-lb gorillas" practicing "deception" on gullible readers.

Let's look at it this way. Anyone offering a service of this nature knows about Cerb. How could they not? Cerb is popular. Newspapers do present the limitation associated with such transparency from this sector of business. Advertising and word of mouth is how that service industry survives. I don't think I have seen a blood curdling 400lb gorilla in our domain here. So, transparency will generate the most business for that sector. If there is deception involved whereas someone presents false images or something that is considered "user unfriendly", then this can be exposed and webmaster and moderators can make the assessment as to whether or not the individual is banned from using the site. The CH doesn't give a rat's arse about that. They just care about collecting the ad fee.

So, it is possible that some of those in the CH and other related publishings avoid Cerb because of it's knowledge of that individual. Why would they go somewhere to advertise and interact where the person is known for being terrible or user-unfriendly? I looked back through many past posts and there are all kinds of indicators of this. For instance, a girl changing her name and data on a daily basis, and being exposed about not being the individual in her pictures, a drug user, yadda yadda. The CH provides shelter for individuals like this.

At least agree with me on this one and I will not raise the argument again.

One of my own most cherished ladies was also shockingly low-priced and was not very interested in exploring the possibilities offered by the Cerb community.

I didn't say it was an impossibility. :-| Did you write up a recommendation for her? I opened this thread as discussion about recommendations for CH advertisers.

The original message was not a rate issue. It was more or less a think-out-loud (brainfart) into what paper ladies are all about. I just hear about them and wonder why they aren't here on Cerb. If they are of good personality and service, why would they hide behind paper? If paper ladies charge less than others, well that is their gig. Quite frankly, a low rate in any sense to me means low service value and quality. I would agree with you there, Red. Service marketing descriptives such as "budget", "discount", "specials", "buy one get one free", and that sort of language intertwined in business illustrates something that I tend to avoid.

I like to get to know someone, not everyone. I have time for someone. Comfort and mutual exchange without commitment or expectation. Value is the friendship - relationship. This is because I seek someone that will be a friend with lots of other benefits rather than an hour of something here and there, and totally fake. When I say fake I mean the role play that service providers may have to action in order to make the recipent feel that there is value and quality based on his/her expectation. I don't dig human commodification. It is two people hanging out and doing what ever the fack they want and exchanging common interest and friendship along the way.

So, a service provider who prefers to keep it business and only business, some people prefer that. I prefer to have 1 pal and remove service from the equation, but share in mutual benefit in friendship.

Ok folks, put your fiddles away. It is good for this sort of thing to be put out there in case some "service providers" actually want what I just described.

That's excatly what i look for with a client..God how i hate the word service...to me that word just doesn't describe what some of us do. I hate to see the "lay there" guys...the ones that just expect us to do things to them. I want a mutual experience and for that you must get involved..I like to think of myself as the non-judge mental friend ...the one you can say anything too and not worry about anyone knowing..kind of like the bartender i guess..hehe except you get to experience much more...

As far as ch girls go where do you think i started...? In the beginning when i worked for an agency that's where he advertised us...so when i became an indy i started there too ..then i found so many more outlets that woked better for me. Believe me some guys who look in Ch for ladies were just as bad as some of the people who advertised there. So it goes both ways. CH just didn't work well for me...i rather pay more money to get quality men then less money and get people asking me"how much to suck my bird?" shivers...now they can ask me in a email and i can just delete it...hehe..shivers again

kisses,

Emma A

on one more note as an escort we get sent alot of links for us to join this and that...i had joined Cerb 2 years before i even made a post...i just didn't realize it...so some ladies just might get lost in the shuffle of links like i did.

Experience shows otherwise. Both in respect to its existence, and to its difference in tone from other cut-throat, disrespectful boards.

Absolutely, of course. As I said, I'm a Cerb guy. I don't disagree with anything anyone has posted on this thread, except I felt it worthwhile to observe that reality is never quite so simple. There's a whole world out there that does not revolve around Cerb. And just like us, the ladies of the Herald are individuals that are not easily lumped into one ad-hoc catch-all bin.

Did you write up a recommendation for her?

Yup. She is no longer in the business.

Hey Wrink

I see what you mean and I think what we have done is described both sides of the fence in this matter. It's all good. Communication and knowledge makes thing go 'round.

Now, you had me thinking so I decided to play devil's advocate and I went out and "TOFTT". I braced myself. Gritted my teeth the odd moment. I was pleasantly surprised.

Floyd

You have just described "Regular" Seeing the same girl often .. I was in such a Relationship for 10+ years and being of limited budget this Regular was also a "One and only" for much of that time ....

I will not discourage you from seeking this sort of relationship as I/we had some fantastic times together, trips, movies, dinners concerts, etc ..

BUT I will Offer a few words of caution.....

This is slightly outside the generally accepted role of the "hobby" it takes the "e" out of GFE and leaves you with GF......

This is going to end up costing way more than regular hobbying, I was damn near bankrupt at the end...

You are seeing only her, for fun times camaraderie, conversation, ie "dates" on the other hand this is her Job, so she is seeing many others .... it will work on your head ...

Feelings are going to develop and strong ones on both sides it is inevetable and will be a cause for friction .... I remember a 3 day trip I wanted to take and the bookings she had to cancel to do it ... I suddenly realised how much of a "Job" it really was to her ....!!!

Ok I am not saying any of this is a bad thing quite the opposite it was some of the best times and definately the best sex :) i have ever had in my lifewe all would like to have this kind of "friend" in our lives, and would see my "gf" still at a moments notice, and even do the regular GF thing again but alas we have moved deyond that ......

Procede with caution my friend .... to paraphrase a great Band :

You may not find what you are looking for my you may find what you need :)
