A girl by the name of Alexis on BP stole my ad also using stolen pics ... She literally copied and pasted it exactly what I wrote ...Not impressed at all, what can I do do she can change it ?

I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. I second going to Cowboy Kenny, he deals with this kind of situation. Anyone who stealing ads word for word and or pictures should be on his website. Good luck with your situation.

 

It's too bad this kind of situation happens over and over again. It taints the whole escort community. We should never have to worry about any other escort taking what we worked hard for. I have never gone through this personally but I can imagine it being a very difficult situation to be in.

Thank Hun, I greatly appreciate that. I did send her a msg and she proceed to take it down, I even offered to help her write an ad. Its definitely not kosher to do that.

It's great you could deal with her directly and she didn't freak out. Most ad thieves are really aggressively hostile and vindictive, so it is more of a risk to do that :)

 

The other thing you can do, and usually recommended, is to report the ad to the admin customer support. There is a Contact us on bp, you would use that, link the copy ad, and one to yours, and/or your website. Even more important is if someone is stealing pictures and you can prove ownership of them, they are pretty good about removing them due to not wanting any sort of legal/copyright hassles. You can report ads on any site, fwiw, and it is always good to try this as well, so the ad site is aware of it, Some ad sites don't have a copycat policy, others do, but for the ones that do not, it is good to put the pressure onto them to get them to get a policy.

 

having said that, I did have an acquaintence who always stole ads from US bp, copied and edited only for her own stats, and I told her, well besides the fact it is illegally stealing someone elses stuff, what happens when your ad suggests you are something/someone you are not? In this case, I pointed out as well her ad was referring to her as 'exotic', a very descriptive word for anyone who isn't a pale white blue eyed blonde.

I would also give the ladies name to Cowboy Kenny, even though she took the ad down. Just so he can keep his eye on her. If she was also stealing pictures, this information can be useful to the Hobbyists. She may want to bait and switch by posting other peoples pictures again. Hopefully this person has learned her lesson though.

I've seen this sometimes but usually as a warning that the service is not good. You could post a BP ad with same title then a STOLEN PHOTO caption following and perhaps list her name and phone number she is using. Definitely let Cowboy know too.

This is a very funny idea but I don't know if the tit for tat tactic is the best option for this situation. I think MissMadisonxoxo handled herself well. However, I would still send Cowboy Kenny (since he deals with this type of situation) a pm or email so he can keep his eyes open to see if this lady wants to continue using other peoples pictures.
