Rant on Sexual Education

Recommended Posts

Guest S***dst***

It worries me the lack of education people carry with them.

If you are going to get involved in something new, and in this case as a service provider, it would only be common sense to learn what you can about it first; right? ...

I found this add on CL.. it reads:

LOOKING FOR A GIRL WHO WILL LET IT ALL OUTT??WELL I WILL! I ENJOY S.E.XUAL THINGS SOO MUCH AND IM NOT AFRAID TO SHOW IT!

IM A BU.STY ITALIAN . ABOUT 5'5 140LBS WITH HAZEL EYES AND CUTE BROWN HAIR. I CATER TO MY CLIENTS AND PROMISE AN UNRUSHED AND SENSUAL EXPERIENCE. IM VERY OPENMINDED AND I LOVE TRYING NEW THINGS

*no blocked numbers..no txts..no emails please thank you!)

If you haven't figured it out... it's the part in red. I'm not validating her as a legit SP, nor am I claiming she's a scammer..

When I read those lines (scam or truth) it made my heart sink.

Really!? ..

I wish I could have sat her down to talk to her about that. (assuming it legit) She is a gorgeous young lady that needs a crash course in human anatomy/physiology; or at minimum some sort of sexual education.

Reminded me of a conversation I overheard in a Mcdonalds (recently) while waiting for my ride to show up.

From what I could understand these 2 guys were trying to calm down this other guy, all of which were in the late teen/early 20's with their pants at their knees and hats flipped up with the bandanas underneath, about his worries of having unprotected sex with a "promiscuous" lady. (to civilize the conversation) who they learned had been with some random guy with std's and the lot.

His fears were justifiable for sure, and I felt badly for him until he called her up and got talking..long story short.. he finally felt relieved after finding out they only had unprotected sex for like 40 seconds, so there was no way she could have caught anything and given it to him.

Really?!....

I hope anyone reading this takes it to heart when I say PLEASE BE SAFE!

You only get one life. Live it, but live it well.

Unprotected sex may feel absolutely amazing but PLEASE dont seek it as the only way to connect with someone.

That's not to say SP's are dirty people, quite the opposite IMO, but seriously save it for someone you are in love with, who loves you back.

I strongly believe in sex education. Each and every person should know the risks and how to protect themselves.

I also strongly believe in the right to make decisions about one's own body which is why I advocate for rights for sex workers. This includes having sex, not having sex, and doing so protected or not.

I personally do massage in part because of the much lower risk for STDs/STIs/pregnancy. I am only sexually active with one person. We are monogamous and were tested together.

At the same time, I respect the decisions of others to choose when to have sex and whether it be protected or not.

My body, my choice, pretty much covers it.

I heard the most outrageous reasoning for not using a condom yesterday.

This guy has a degree in philosophy and believes Heidegger in saying that sex with a condom is "inauthentic."

Well, I hope you like your "authentic" STD when you get it.

Did he also say, "Well, I've never had a STD so therefore they do not exist."?

Nicely parried Erin. Also I'm sure that in Heidigger's day the quality of condoms provided scant protection from either pregnancy or STD's and there was also no AIDS then.

This guy sounds like a flippant little snot who isn't nearly as clever as he thinks. (probably a virgin anyways)

Ok Here I am replying to this after hesitating thinking 'who am I to say this?' Well, if you people think my comment is out context I will gladly remove it.

Yes, I totally agree with the fact of this person offering and not caring about having unprotected sex is absolutely wrong and sad but then ... don't we (most cerb members) do the same?

Yes, I know you'll jump and say wtf with her but even though most of us here (I'd like to believe all) only have INTERCOURSE with condom just think of how many of us (I think all) have unprotected oral sex. Then, aren't we in the same position than this person who posted that ad??

Being so simple to use protection for oral we choose not to because 'it feels' nicer, what about our health then? In my personal situation I advertise as offering cbj only but who am I fooling when I receive unprotected oral, since I started in this business I think about it and I've come to the conclusion that many hobbiest here have chosen not to see me because I don't offer bbbj. Now, imagine if to that I choose to ask my clients to wear a dental dam, I'm sure no man would agree to that even when the benefit is for both parts. If I wouldn't/haven't even suggested it is

A. because of what I've already mentioned (refusal)

B. I have to admit I am very confident that most people here care about their health, get tested regularly, etc .

So that's my point let's care MORE about our health and be better informed, unprotected intercourse is not the only way to get an std.

Happy v.day all!!!

I.

I think Isabellaw25 raises a good point. The SP's desires and boundaries should always be respected and taking care of their health and hygiene is also taking care of that of the men who visit them. But I hadn't thought about advertising those criteria hurting their business. Personally, I would never entertain the idea of visiting someone who advertised anything goes . . . not just because of the possible health risks but because I think such behaviour may speak to their class as well. I believe that in some countries where escorting is legal, condoms and dental dams are legally mandated. I can only hope that the number of people who visit the SPs here take the time to carefully read their reviews and understand that many of them have plenty to offer regardless of any levels of precaution they demand.

Just to clear up what could be considered misleading, you don't "wear" a dental dam. It's a sheet of latex that you place over the vulva or anus if you plan to engage in cunnilingus or rimming.

Use or wear, the word used is not a big deal, I think you get the point of my comment.

Sorry, not a fan of sucking on balloons.

It is impossible to do the things I do and to make men weak in their knees by doing a CBJ. I don't enjoy it, the men don't enjoy it, and yes I get tested. Often.

test often? does't mean a lot to me. Got the test in the morning and could get something in the afternoon. At least SP should provide a choice to client - cbj or bbbj. Client should also respect if SP only provides cbj. If SP only provides one of these, should let her client know when he books the appointment.

I highly doubt a girl would argue with a client if he wanted CBJ only. Maybe she prefers the real thing but then again, I'm sure there's times where she'd prefer a better client and puts up with that too.

I had the experience with a popular SP who refuse to do cbj. Of course I didn't agrue with her. I don't want to hurt the atmosphere. I am nice guy. Just skipped the bj. I will not repeat.

Both providers and pooners have their own preferences and limits and if you have something you prefer I would suggest asking if that is something they will do prior to the meeting. Most SP's with sites state what they offer and if they don't...then ask. If it is that important I would assume it is part of your criteria when choosing..No?

This post was flagged to my attention because of the comment friends4fun made

and I know some of the ladies find this condescending but he does have a point (It could happen - it's rare from what I have read but possible) but I think the error here is that he obviously needs to ask first as CBJ is important to him and his personal safety limits (FYI: many guys share this same issue so it may be a good idea for the ladies to mention that they will do either or on request if they don't care either way but to expect they inform you of this before is probably asking a little much if you do not ask first).

It is a touchy subject as the stereotypes portray sex workers as STD/STI spreaders - Most of us know that this is a lot less common than what the media would like us to beleive but friends4fun does have a valid concern (your delivery however and expectations need some work). Being tested regularly helps (and everyone should do this) but a risk always exists and it's a personal level of safety for each individual.

Now... Let's face it... condoms smell like bicycle inner tubes and surgical gloves, they are often covered in lubricants and other stuff and I Know they make non lubricated flavored ones but a balloon is a balloon - I would not blame anyone for not wanting to put that in their mouth.

If this is important to the guy he should not expect her to inform him of this - it's his safety concern and he should bring it up. The last thing a lady wants to tell a client is "I don't do this and I don't do that" etc.. it's a mood killer - If you have specific needs you should ask.

Could you imagine the huge list of dos and donts a lady would need to recite to appease everyone? Just ask don't assume...

DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING - EVER

Also when you post about touchy subjects like this (STD/STI's) a little sensitivity and diplomacy goes a long way.

We don't want to add to the negative stereotypes (we want to prove them wrong to the public)

Again... ASK (You will avoid these issues if you ask) and anyone who believes everything they are told by the media is a fool. Form your own opinions by educating yourself. Just because some newspaper or tv station says it's fact does not make it fact. Remember the media groups streetwalkers, escorts, massage spa's, dancers,etc... all into one group (Sex workers) and unfortunately some of those groups are less conscious on average about personal safety and who they have sexual relations with.

I for one seek out SPs specifically because they offer cbj only. This is because a) I am married and b) statistics indicate that 1 in 5 Americans have herpes (I assume Canadian stats to be the same) and c) herpes is forever. So I do not do BBBJ or DATY. This limits who I see of course. Why do I not see girls that offer BBBJ? Because I know a pretty girl could talk me into almost anything!

They actually assume this number is MUCH higher as many people are carriers and show no symptoms (blisters) and since you can pass this even when no soar is showing (or can be felt) it's really not possible to avoid.

You can pass herpes even with a condom (Thinking that CBJ and sex with a condom will stop the spread of herpes is WRONG!)

Herpes should be the least of your concerns when it comes to sti/std's

Gawd mod, what are you telling me? Herpes is the only incurable STD besides HIV/Aids (yet treatable) and half the world has it and you can't prevent getting it, but don't worry about it?? Geez, this kind of info is enough to send me back to internet porn!

The only incurable STD besides HIV??? I didn't say that... I should not have to tell you this but you really need to do your homework.

You obviously have concerns about heath risks and you obviously have not educated yourself in regards to these risks adequately - this is not wise and it makes me shake my head at you.

Herpes and Aids are both incurable and condom use does help ... but they are not the only STD/STI's that are incurable and you are forgetting two that are much worse!!

Your forgetting about Hepatitis (Also can kill you) and Genital warts (HPV) that doesn't really kill but has no cure and apparently it can also cause certain cancers from what I have read and well.. the HPV doesn't kill you but Cancer can.

Luckily a condom is about 98% safe to protect you from Hep!

If your not going to educate yourself internet porn is probably a good place to go back to as many people only use the computer and internet for that purpose... but .... if you want to smarten up you could use the internet for something better than porn and research some STD's / STI's and educate yourself.
