Quick favour: SMS test.

Some months back, I ported my VOIP number over to my cell phone. Since then, some users on certain carriers have been unable to send text messages to me.

 

Can you help me test my system by sending me a quick SMS to 613-627-0800? Please text just one word: the name of your carrier. I think I'm good for Telus and Bell. I'm more interested in people on other carriers.

I am glad to hear that your texting problems are sorted out. :)

 

I purchased my phone from Petro-Canada a few years ago. I like the convenience of the Anytime Plan. I go to the Petro-Canada service station once or twice a year to top up my account. It is a great convenience not having to use a credit card.

I use Petro Can and it has worked out to way less than $10/mo and my annual top up of the plan looks just like a fill-up on the credit card! I think it's one of the simpler/cheaper carrier options for hobbyists.
