  1. It may seem like an explosion, but really this is just Winnipeg catching up. Clearly there is sufficient demand. I am noticing that prices are starting to moderate which is probably a good thing, in the short term. It's likely that prices will begin rising once the market is more saturated.
  2. They've gone through a few ladies which is common in this industry. Twyla is good and knows what it's all about, I've enjoyed her services. I'm glad this place is there. I think there is a bit more pruning that has to take place. Some of the staff are not friendly or seem like they don't want to be there,
  3. The Kijiji ad seemed to come out of nowhere. Still, I opted to try out this facility North of Arlington. The operators are TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practitioners. It's not what what we would call a "happy" place. The quality of the full body massage was surprisingly good and competent. I've had many relaxing massages in the past, but none like this in Winnipeg. The calibre of the people including the TCM doctor and the nature of their work, near to Health Sciences no less, was surprising. There isn't much more to tell. Call this a TFTT. I was expecting (hoping) for something a little different , but what I received was rewarding for other reasons.
  4. Head East on Hwy 16 for about 8-10 hours. When you see the turn off saying Winnipeg, turn left. Hope this helps
  5. I had a session with Sarah a while ago. It wasn't my first, but certainly will be my last. The young lady has a lot of potential. She is intelligent, inquisitive and not hard on the eyes. Perhaps it's just me, but she reeks of "not wanting to be there.." That is until the end, when she has both hands out waiting for her tip. Answering telephone while in-session, checking and reading messages on cell-phone while massaging, limp repetitive unsatisfying forearm massage - are some of the problems. I wish this was an isolated incident - but from a paying customer's perspective it felt highly disrepectful. Until someone can report differently, All I can caution is to stay away when Sarah is on-duty.
  6. The message regarding customer expectations at an amp are getting through to management. Unfortunately the quality and skill level of some attendants still needs improvement. I've pretty much seen each masseuse several times. Jane and Mya are generally able to focus on the task at hand, others less so. Sessions should be undisturbed and drama free and not an opportunity to chat with other attendants. We are looking for one-hour of friendly, relaxing and undisturbed attention. Since it's our money, put on a happy (not gruff) face and learn to act, even if you're not really into it. Oh, and put the damn phones on answering machine when there is only one person working and that person is in a session.
  7. I'm not sure if it's my 5th or maybe 6th time going to Ness. I think "they've" warn out my welcome / funds. The session from May (or Maya) is not RMT quality and they aren't really the other kind. They session appeared to be geared to one thing - her tip! She started asking for "her" money early for what was a mediocre massage. When I asked about additional funds for extra services, I quoted a reasonable amount. She quickly replied, for that amount I could do it myself. Is that sass or more the attitude of someone who really didn't want to be there?
  8. I hadn't seen this thread (yet), but I was interested in the Ness facility, none-the-less. Here's a report. On the phone she said Jen, but it was probably Jane. Upon arrival I was fascinated to see what I thought was a classic AMP storefront setup, available in most cities but one where Winnipeg has been lacking. Facilities are clean and well kept. My massage was amazingly pleasant even though it was without R&T. In retrospect, I should've made my request and expectations earlier, not that it might've made any difference. I don't know yet what to make of the place except to say that this was a fine massage, borderline sensual. Somebody had trained my attendant well. The price is high for a one-hour session compared to RMTs. But this could be the result of local conditions. I will likely return for more treatments. I found it very relaxing.
