  1. Now I am confused, though. If wix isn't hosting it, who is? Cause it is online. I don't quite understand.

It's semantics really Summer. They are hosting it but they only host their platform. They aren't a host in the truest form of the word. Hosts like Fat Cow, Netfirms, go daddy and in my opinion the best mainstream hosting company to allow adult content, Host Gator, excellent customer service and technical support.

I suspect you have a paid upgrade account because you don't have all the wix branding that the free sites they offer do, but you might want to check your TOS as they are as midnight massages states fickle about adult content, you might be ok though sometimes these things fly under the radar I know a provider who had a free site with wix for 2 years even had frontal nudity and yet never a peep from them.

While tumblr has it's limitations with regard to file size it's probably your best "free" solution. Hosting your videos on Porn Hub or similar services will subject your web visitors to embedded and pop up ads.

    Good luck with this .

  2. Thanks EJ! I didn't even bother to look, yeah wix is not a hosting service. The tumblr option you suggest is probably the most viable solution for a quick fix to Summer's dilemma. +10 points for Emily J!

  3. I agree, a file is a file they are a host that's what you are paying them to do, host your files! So long as your hosting package allows for the increased bandwidth that streaming video requires.

The only exception being that they might have a clause regarding, mautre or adult content, but if they are hosting your site and your photos then this should not be an issue. I'm curious to know who is your hosting company?

BTW, dropshots is not a viable option as they do not allow adult content.

  4. The original poster had also contacted me, the other night. I advised him that yes it's a scam site, it's operated by the same people behind these two sites featured earlier on the diary http://www.cowboysdiary.info/wordpress/?tag=819-803-004 . http://www.cowboysdiary.info/wordpress/?s=xlist

As you can see the photos are fake and some featured on both sites.

This is not a new tactic in the arsenal of the shaddier agencies, but it's one that eventually and always fails.

  5. Their is no doubt that one want's to be party to anything to do with trafficking or underage providers, but the police's tactic in this case was all wrong. Their actions in this case have created a distance and lack of trust on the part of many providers. How do they expect cooperation from providers when they've shown such a lack of respect for the very people they claim to be protecting? A few indies telling me that they were visited by 4-5 uniformed and in some cases plain clothes Male officers, and told only to call the officer who questioned them if they have info with regard to trafficking.

All other calls about "john stuff" should be made to the general number and in some cases not to contact their police liaison officers, their phone number left written on a scrap piece of paper. They were hardly discrete either, posting one officer outside apartments in the hallway while searches and "interviews" were conducted. Meanwhile licensed and unlicensed SPAs saw a more gentle and less intimidating approach with at least one female officer on scene and cards given out were proper business cards.

This looks particularly bad on the OPS as their approach and tactics are exactly the same as the reasons they brought disciplinary action against Sgt Rohan Beebakhee.

Sounds like a lot of back pedaling going on right now by the police http://www.ottawapolice.ca/en/MediaRoom/NewsReleases/14-01-28/8c3172c6-7799-4b38-a93e-bd5ab9f0f4cf.aspx

Of the 29 visits it seems a good lot where known established solo indy providers, over the age of 25, many who do not even advertise on BP or CL. I'm sure others were visited as well, but seems like they were wasting their time interviewing the older independents. As mentioned earlier they need only read my diary to get an idea of who might be "man"aged or trafficked.

  6. I had to put down my almost 20 year old cat today. The house is going to feel empty now.

NJ sorry to hear this, try to think of the joy your cat brought to you and your family over the last 20 years. I had to put down my 18 year old cat 9 years ago and I'm just now getting comfortable with the thought of getting a new cat. They are part of our families. Take care pal!

  7. Yes I've seen her a couple of times, nice girl, photos are accurate, she's very accommodating and easy to get along with. She is very tiny though, like she could easily fit in your pocket! That said I had a great time with her twice, pretty decent no hands bbj as I recall, but I'm not sure we clicked, her size and youth may have been a factor on my part, nothing to do with her she's both attractive and a quality provider. I meant to do a write up but guess I forgot. Saw her back in November, as mentioned she only seems to advertise later in the evening like 10pm and only every now and then, like tonight her ad is up right now! Go for it!

  8. Yes it's true I've taken a liking to her, having seen her a few times in the last month including some social time. She's a very service oriented provider, pretty girl tight spinner bod, perky tits and open to fun and new things! She's quirky and makes me laugh. Of course YMMV we seem to have it it off, I find my cock fits nicely in her mouth and other parts.

  9. Sorry to take so long to chime in, I only became aware of this thread today. The diary primarily accounts for bait and switch providers, agencies as well as dangerous situations for both providers and clients alike. From time to time if I experience"bad" or poor service from a provider I might post about it there, as a first person account.

Usually though I post those situations, thankfully rare, in forums that allow for that sort of information. It is possible to be critical without being hurtful or mean. As Christy points out though bad reviews can be done out of malice or revenge to the provider, by someone who in some cases hasn't even seen the provider. Why people do this is beyond me, but it is done, which is why you need to do your homework!

Third party information on my site is vetted as thoroughly as possible, details are checked and follow up is done before any 3rd party information is posted and usually needs to be confirmed by multiple sources, my mailbox is full of 3rd party information or tips, which actually pan out to be false or unproven, i'd say 10% of all 3rd party info I receive actually makes it to the site, usually it's too hard to prove or not true. I don't just print anything, without proof or fact based details. In fact several people take offense when I follow up asking more questions, which usually means they weren't committed to the truth to begin with.

The take away here is to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, there's plenty of resources. Just because a provider isn't listed here on the recommendation board , doesn't necessarily mean she's not worth seeing and vice versa, look at the posting history of posters on those other sites and you'll see that many complain a lot but don't actually provide substantive reviews or recommendations, while other members do with a balance of good and bad experiences. Remember though sex and everything about it are very subjective and what tickles one man's fancy may to do the same for the next guy, that doesn't mean that first guy is bullshitting.

A Happy hobbyist is an informed hobbyist, yes CERB is a great place, and the sense of community cannot be found anywhere else, where hobbyists and providers can openly discuss everything under the sun. Other boards exists for other purposes, there's nothing wrong with people having memberships and seeking information elsewhere. It's like if you only get your news from one source you only get a certain perspective. Google is your friend, for the adventurous type go wild and see what's out there. CERB is a great starting ground for newbies, there less chance of getting burned by bad service, bait and switch or dangerous situations, but that's not to say that they can't happen here as well.

  10. Good Grief, everytime an image is displayed on your computer it's downloaded, if we followed that logic everyone would be guilty.

And it's true that when a photo is posted on the internet it is in the "public domain" litteraly and simply put "it's out there" but that does not mean it's free to be used by anyone, for profit or not, but it is in the public domain, as anyone with internet access can view it. The term public domain actually means that the intellectual rights of the original owner have run out.

Copyright is infringed in a number of ways. For example when you re-sell the rights without proper ownership, when you re post the image without permission of the owner or credit to the owner and it most certainly is against the law to use someone else's photos and use them to represent your self.

To my understanding there is no provision in the law that states it's okay to copy if you are going to use it with positive intentions and to benefit others, or am I wrong?

There are exceptions though, for example on my site I post copywritten photos all the time under the protection of fair use/ fair dealing, for the purposes of comparison. critique and parody. I always link to the site where I found the images. I never represent the images as my own. There are other images on my site that I pay licensing fees for. These are images like clipart and other graphical elements used to shame the fakers. I pay a subscription fee to access royalty free images meaning I pay once per image to use the images in perpetuity on my site.

In 7 years of the diary I have been contacted a number of times by copyright owners who have asked for further information about the perpetrators who stole the image in the first place and only once in 7 years has a copyright owner asked me to remove an image that they owned because they did not approve, not so much my use of the image, they were appreciative of that but they didn't like being associated with Escorts, it was a lingerie site from the UK. They were however appreciative of the information I provided and oddly enough that faker was never heard from again ?

It's kinda funny though that the issue of copyright and ownership only becomes a concern when ones own images where stolen and not the other way 'round. I remember a cerb member who accused of being mean and a bully for chastising a them for using fake STOLEN images and not getting why it was wrong, funny how the tide turns.

  11. Hey folks, here's a fun way to help support a local charity and stay informed about fake, flakes and frauds. For the next 30 days I will donate 10 dollars to the Ottawa food bank for every follower who follows my twitter feed !

    More details here http://www.cowboysdiary.info/wordpress/?p=7521

It's a great way to lend a helping hand to a worthy charity and it won't cost you a cent!
