I am currently reviewing all comments made in this thread and going to discuss changes with the Devs to improve anything discussed here. I can't guarantee it will be done right away as please keep in mind we are limited by the tools the site has available to them as this isn't a custom build. We'll do our best to improve movement through the site and the mobile experience.

    Thanks Mod. Good luck.

Personally, unless there is a radical turn-around in the Ad exposure and community interest, I think the site is done. The problems are more fundamental than just frigging with the interface.

The site has gone stale IMO. It used to be fun and informative, now it's just basically chat between a few. I use to visit several times a day, now I'm down to maybe twice a week. The site was already in decline before the rework - the new design did nothing to enhance the cruising experience.

Yes I will. Be glad to tell anyone whom is curious as to avoid being dooped by her Ma poor behaviour.

I will never see her ever again . She may have got a few extra dollars but she’ll never get another dime from me.

Ill spend it on more reputable ladies whom respect is a two way street.

    Not right at all.

    I would be pissed.

    Can you please PM me?

  3. As of this version, I like this layout for the following reasons:

    * It clearly shows the latest topics. I sorely missed that in previous layout versions.

    * I love the Topic display options (Table, Grid, Fluid). I prefer the Fluid view.

    * I'm of two minds about the Chatbox.  I like that it has it's own page & de-clutters the landing page (my preference). On the other hand, I agree with Phaedrus' POV.

    * I suggest compressing the right hand navigation check boxes. Give us the option to expand or contract the checkbox category (ex: the Provincial lists)

    * The Gallery confuses me & could use a reorganization:

         - What's the difference between "Member Albums" and "Converted Albums"?.

         - What's the difference between "Recently Added" and "New Images"

         - "Albums" seems to be hanging out by itself - what does it do?

    * The Leaderboard category strikes me as a bit pointless and even just a little offensive.  Warning - Opinion:  It may sound harsh, but I could care less who is nominated for x or y or who has the most points.  In as many years as I've been a member here, I've never understood the points thing - the whole rating thing smells like some kind of exclusive clique and I prefer not to engage with it.

I'd like to end on a positive note to say that I think the site is evolving for the better. Thanks for keeping up with the fine-tuning. I hope it attracts more membership and sparks more interest. Thanks also for bravely reaching out to ask our opinion. It's a hard thing to objectively hear and respond to criticism.

  4. Came upon the CBC article listed below:

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-news-now-undermines-democracy-1.4769639

Welcome to Ford Nation. The Ontario PCs created a propaganda bureau.

Do the right thing. Write to your local Ontario PC representative and object to your tax dollars being used to mislead the public. Don't accept this nonsense.

  5. Oh, they still have a lot of wiggle room before they hit rock bottom. Just wait, they'll get around to it.

    Some helpful suggestions:

    - Make Trump Emperor for Life

    - Show old-school Gladiator games

    - Regular political purges (Stalin Style)

    - Establish KKK-based universities & churches

    - Have public & televised executions on Sundays

    - Build massive internment camps in the Nevada & Arizona desert

    - Re-institute the Slave trade

    - Foster Child labour

    - Pardon all Felons everywhere & hire them as Whitehouse advisors

    - Ban the Middle-Class

    - Outlaw public assembly

    - Outlaw the Democratic Party or any other political group

    - Outlaw the Free Press (except Fox)

.... and we can look for more good news next week.

  6. If someone could figure out a way to fund a guy, or a small group of guys, who can do all of the toftt duties, then I think everyone would be happy. People do not visit most of the Escorts/Ladies/SPs that travel to respective towns because of lack of trust. Photos, pimps, service, etc, etc all are suspect, until someone decides to toftt. Once that happens, everything changes, and either you are comfortable to go, or stay away. I think that the SPs who are legit would love to have a positive recommendation from a trusted source, and maybe we would have a "Kingston gate" to those who are not legit. They would not stick around long, as our "gate-keeper" would let the rest of us know to be wary.

I only say this, because everyone is posting "can someone toftt", all of the time, and nobody ever seems to do so. Example being, Carmi (newcomer) who seems really sweet, and legitimate, but could be a complete scam. There are risks involved, but an experienced fellow could take precautions. Carmi would benefit from someone saying "She's Amazing", and then everyone is comfortable visiting. Her business booms, and everyone's happy.

Just need to set up some "Go Fund Me" fund for our chosen-one lol. If all of the followers in Kingston area threw in a few bucks, it would be more than enough. It's kind of like a Stag Party, when everyone pays for the dances :).

Just so you know, I know it will never happen, but it's fun to talk about.

    cheers

    Well Dang!

Why didn't I think about that sooner (and say it out loud)?

What an enterprising and thoughtful suggestion.

I can see that will work perfectly. How much of a donation are you looking for as a start?

  7. I would love to hear from the ladies and gents about your thoughts on the recent closure of Craiglist and Backpage ads.

Here is a bit of honesty that's hard to admit ...

So far I find it has decreased my business and increased my advertising costs because now I am having to pay for ads from a number of other sites to get a fraction of the bookings I used to get from the two big guys.

I have even considered raising my rates. I don't want to have to .. but ad costs have increased. Still undecided at this point because I try to keep it reasonable.

Time spent screwing around with ads has also increased because now I am posting on 4 or 5 sites rather than 1 or 2.

I finally had my website finished and things were finally really good and steady but now things have slowed right down and I am worried. I feel as if the potential clients are just not finding my ads.

That brings up another good point ... do clients even know where to look anymore ? Everyone knew Craiglist and Backpage but do the guys feel lost now also ?

Are others feeling the impact ? Are the guys feeling frustrated with trying to find decent sites ? Would love to hear your thoughts and know I am not alone.

I'm not sure yet what to think TBH.

BP seemed to be the home for fakes. I didn't have any confidence in it. Seemed to me that TERB reviews on SOME of the so-called legit BP providers were also sketchy (B&S), so I just generally avoided and stuck with my trusted regulars. TERB is my go-to advisor right now. I will reach out to providers that have consistent & positive reviews though. I weed-out review flames (mostly from competitors & dick heads with an agenda) and see those who offer an honest deal.

CL was ok to monitor but I didn't use it. Occasionally, something new would pop-up that grabbed my interest. Usually turned out to be something dodgy. It was mostly spas that advertised too but since I'm an indie kinda guy, I didn't indulge.

I really don't know what to make of LL yet. I've heard rumour that's loading up with fakes & scams now (sorry Lyla - I'm just repeating what I heard). From my experience, some of the ads really do look questionable though. For example, see this classy gem: https://www.leolist.cc/personals/dom-fetish/central-ontario/barrie_come_me_right_in_the-3652320

VIPFavours is really painful to use. Slow & tempermental. I gave up. It's dead now too, isn't it?

    Conclusions -

I go (went) for the brand-name sites (when available)

I'm pretty much in the dark like you are.

I skim the review boards for educational purposes.

I'm a social media hermit & I don't screw around with stuff like Twitter, FB

All the so-called Adult match-up sites are scams

    Last words:

I'm willing to explore. Are there other worthwhile sites out there? If so, I'm up for learning the new landscape.

I've learned to equate all adult advertising websites with scams. All of them.

I like providers who put up videos on YouTube - I think that's cool.

  8. I find that no one actually reads anymore. Not even a short paragraph unless it contains those annoying emojis.

Cursive writing isn't a thing in schools anymore.

Spelling is irrelavent because wtf and btw are easier.

Oh' date=' and predictive text is annoying![/quote']

Our intelligence and ability for constructive thought is reduced to the length of a Twitter.

Like, OMG that is really SAD!

  9. I loved the article; inciteful and opinionated.

I really appreciate the thesis. Well presented, informed and forthright.

If I understand correctly, the author advocates banning (and I paraphrase) review boards entirely.

She equates the review boards with a mentality that has:

    - Increased pressure to offer BB service

    - Diminished respect for workers as a whole

    - Encouraged a dehumanizing effect through rating system

    - Escalated disrespect for people

    - Escalated disrespect for boundaries

    - Escalated demands on services and rate competition

    - Dis-empowered worker rights and protections

    - Encouraged disrespect for treating the industry as a business

    - Driven a generally coercive behaviour toward providers

    Do I agree with her?

Let's just say that as a reviewer on another board, it gives me points to ponder. I will examine my own behaviours. I get it and I'm grateful.

I think the blog also reveals a dark side of media (review boards) and, human nature. Reviewers can hide behind relative anonymity to trash reputations and heap abuse. While that, I believe is the exception to the rule - it's also that perverted 10% that overwhelms the respectful majority. In this way, while media serves the income generating needs of the industry, it also bites the hand that feeds it - injuring the humanity and safety of service providers. I speak in black & white terms - there are other arguments too.

Question - do you believe review boards are the source of the problem or they merely a reflection of something deeper?

  10. I think a name change must take a lot of thought. I wouldn't cast a negative eye on anyone who does it - they have their reasons, and whatever they are, I don't think anyone is qualified to cast rocks.

So, that being said... regret could be a reason.

Hard to take anything seriously from a guy with a name like mine, but as stupid as it is - if I changed my name, how would anyone recognize me? All my rep points (...have I got any rep points??), all that would go swirling down the crapper.

So, I guess I'm stuck with my name.

    Fuck.

  11. Came across a CBC article:

Canadian sex worker says new U.S. trafficking laws are a risk to her safety

    http://www.cbc.ca/radio/thecurrent/the-current-for-april-18-2018-1.4623673/canadian-sex-worker-says-new-u-s-trafficking-laws-are-a-risk-to-her-safety-1.4624546

    Wild Wild West Marketplace

The disappearance of BP has removed a stabilizing influence - I never saw that coming what with all the fakes and schemers. Yet, despite my incredulity, that seems to be the case - while also revealing a harsh reality.

The above article is based on an interview with Sex Worker Jelena Vermilion on the shutdown of BP. The article quotes Jelena:

"... she's heard from sex workers in her network who are now "considering walking the streets...." "

  12. Truly bizarre!

It's like everything is reset back to the Wild West frontier.

My thinking is that some guys and competitors see it as an opportunity to re-write the rules now. With the absence of a large marketplace like BP, everything is up for grabs like a free trade zone.

Feel free to poke holes - I'm just scratching my head trying to figure out the psychology.
