  1. Most of us who have been doing this for awhile would probably agree that it's probably best to see this as paid sex for fun which can be endlessly enjoyable, rather than some unrealistic (as well as an often sad - frequently pathetic - and sometimes dangerous - for all concerned - "love" fantasy.") That doesn't mean you can't have some really good friends - and once or twice perhaps (in my experience, at least - YMMV), if you are really honest with yourself - and she is as well, you can find someone you really love as a person - as opposed to being "in love with". And that's pretty damn good. But she's not your "girlfriend". Or your "wife". She's a true friend that goes way beyond this "life". And sometimes, that can be as good as, if not better than, any alternative.
  2. DP can be: Two cocks in: A pussy and a butt-hole But, also, in A mouth A pussy A butt-hole Any combo thereof. Oral DP is pretty cool and pretty common in group situations. As Owly mentioned, Vag DP is also very cool and also happens a fair bit in group situations, if the dudes have the wood and the women have the inclination. Lol. Anal DP is pretty rare. A "hat trick" in all three areas is rarer still. And then there are the triples. But those are really rare. Except for the oral. You can search on-line for videos of triple vag and anal. And find them. But the level of group mutual sexuality, hard-on sustainability and cooperative positioning is pretty amazing.
  3. Hey Erin, Don't blame you for being pissed. That sounds like a long wait. Everyone noticed you weren't able to attend and remarked that they were disappointed by that. Next time for sure. Y.S.
  4. Yeah, sure, maybe. Lol. This whole board could be about self-indulgence, I guess. (Just a guess.) Ultimately, for me, in any particular instance: don't know, don't care. As long as Mod didn't ban anyone, it was probably okay. Lol.
  5. Hey Joe, Were you the guy in the long overcoat who walked past a couple of times? If so, next time, just sit down and have a drink. There are no expectations other than to be polite. Some people stay longer, others don't. It varies from person to person and event to event. Y.S.
  6. Hey Charlotte, Most people who attend these events are shy in one way or another, I think. But those who attend anyway, from what they say, usually find their concerns about shyness (or whatever - there are various concerns and various comfort levels) were pretty much unfounded. Next time, come to the event, have a nice time and then go to the lap dances with some new friends. 8) Y.S.
  7. I've seen most of them. Some more than once. It's a good list.
  8. Thanks to all those who attended! As usual, many newcomers who thought they'd like to show up were a bit shy. Lol. Great to see the four new members who made it to their inaugural event. Nice to see the gender balance was almost 50-50 tonight. Helps to keep the male pool sharks in line when the women are just as good. Lol.

  10. Looks like we will have a good turnout this evening. Several female guests along with a number of male CERB members. For those of you for whom this may be your first social event, just a reminder that the women are our guests and among us, we pay for their food and beverages. I won't be checking here or my hobby e-mail from work and will be going directly to the event from work. So if you haven't already contacted me via PM for details by now, it's too late for this event.

  12. Thanks Erin! Pants being held. I won't say where. Lol.
  13. I can provide some general info. If you want more, PM me. The social events look pretty much like a bunch of people who work in the same office going out for lunch or for a drink after work. Everyone pretty much stays with casual business dress. Though, as you can expect, even within that constraint, the women all look very good. Well-dressed professional women who know how to appear in public. There are no name tags. The conversation is wide-ranging and goes well beyond hobby issues. The tone is low-key and discrete. Individuals can provide as much or a little personal information as they like. People usually introduce themselves via CERB "handles" at some point, but don't make a big deal of it. There is no expectation of other activity. It is a social event. If individuals or groups of individuals do wish to meet afterward, (either immediately or in the days to come), they arrange that very discretely in a low-key way. We tend to frequent large places in various part of the city where work groups and social groups go for a drink and a casual meal. If we can, we may avail ourselves of a room or a section, just like many other groups for whom the nexus is work or social life. We usually reserve under a personal name so that those attending, if they are new, can ask for the "XXXX" reservation when they arrive. (The name is not "poly" - lol) Pretty ordinary. Pretty low-key. And ideally very discrete. Those attending so far have conducted themselves accordingly.
  14. Emma is always so totally cool! Both in person and on-line.
  15. Congrats to Annessa and all the other the other great SP contributors! Without them, this board would be nothing.
  16. Just a brief clarification. I didn’t mean that people who posted a lot were self-indulgent. They may or may not be. I don’t know and I don’t really care. I do think the vast majority of posters here in general are trying to be helpful, informative or entertaining and often succeed at all three in a single post. I was referring to an observation which I’ve made over a period of almost four years hanging around here (counting my guest lurking and my member participation time) that a number of the “problem children” that Mod has had to deal with (since this thread is about him) over the years, seem, just as often to be long-term heavy posters as newbies who make rookie mistakes. As the long-term heavy posters who from time-to-time butt heads with Mod don’t have the rookie excuse, I view their behaviour as self-indulgent. Certainly, to be honest with myself, when I’ve pushed the limits around here and crossed a Mod line or two, I’ve basically been self-indulgent ("let’s see what we can get away with, since we are familiar with the environment and think we know how the system works."). Lol. Certainly a number, but certainly not all (as I was careful to point out my original post), long-term heavy posters seemed to have been a Mod “discipline” problem at one time or other. “I was drunk when I posted that.” (lol) “How dare you censor me!? Don’t you know I’m a major contributor?” (lol) “I was only expressing my view, I wasn’t fighting. The swear words just kind of happened.” (lol) Not exact direct quotes, just by way of example; but exculpatory statements of a similar nature have been expressed in Forums or PMs or private e-mails after a censure from Mod. So, my point was, while those of us who participate a fair bit regularly over time may think our view is correct on any particular issue (Is that self-indulgence or self-confidence? You decide. Lol), ultimately, Mod has never varied from his principles and standards (though we may disagree personally sometimes with his interpretations) to favour a long-time regular poster over a newbie. All are treated the same. It must be frustrating for him when long-time regular posters cause him problems. I’m sure he thinks we should know better and are just being self-indulgent. (And I don’t blame him if he feels that way. Herding cats can be tiresome after awhile, I would think. Lol.) Which was the point I was trying to make originally.
  17. Congrats to Antlerman! Your many, useful and often witty posts have received the formal peer recognition they deserve. And thanks to insidevoice, who, at the last moment, graciously withdrew his vote for The Dude, thus breaking what would have otherwise been a dead-heat tie.
  18. We should also remember that Mod pays for all this. And not only to promote Escorts-Canada and his other escort ad sites and ventures. Which he's been upfront about from the start. But because he really believes those who participate in this lifestyle, no matter to what degree, deserve a place to meet, discuss, have fun, exchange ideas and further their participation on-line. He could have achieved his promotional goals with little or no active involvement from himself. But he chose to have a very engaged and on-going commitment to the site which, I think, has ensured not only its continued existence but its continued growth as well. Because he has ensured it remains a civil place for like-mined people to meet and talk on the Web. Keeping it civil and cool and fun and SP friendly while herding the fairly large number of self-indulgent cats (which include most of the high posters like me), and at the same time still being fair to them and to his own ideals and standards hasn't been easy, for sure. So I applaud him particularly for that.
  19. I think The Dude would say, if he were allowed to post here, that insidevoice, as his campaign manager, has done a brilliant job. Insidevoice not only insisted Mod accept his nomination of The Dude (based on the early Florida, late southern Illinois and combined Greater Toronto Area 905 polls), but has very skillfully managed his campaign since then. His witty, thoughtful and convincing mass PM promo blitz has not only helped the turn-out for all candidates but also has propelled The Dude into the cliff-hanging finish we see looming before us. What's next? Ask Micheal Ignatieff. Lol.

  21. Quite a few expressions of interest so far in next Wed soc event and several female and male members have confirmed intentions of attending. PM me if you're interested. (If you're a new member with zero posts, I'm gonna say "no". But if you've been around CERB for awhile and have a track record of intelligent posts and good reccos, we'd like to see you.)
