    I've been to ALL... All are nice places and safe. AGAIN with any facility it is the relationship between the client and MA that will determine the "true" outcome of your visit.

     

    That in mind I would suggest you check out the MAs rather than the facility as being the more important part of the question.

     

    Now to make it more difficult... ALL of these places have GREAT MAs... some you'll get along with better than others.

     

    I would also add the new spa, VIBE to the list, GREAT place in the east-end.

    Seems that Triple A has been re-invigorated, now a part of ALO!!!

     

    Already been there when I had heard "although not public" just to see if it was true!

     

    SO happy, has that nice ALO feel to it... and this is before restorations. Great service, no hassle, no problems...

    I've only seen Gina BUT... I have followed her from place to place for MANY years now. Some may say "stalk" (LOL) but I prefer (coincidence)...

    Can everyone please weigh in on the preparation/temperature of the gel?

     

    I've never really noticed a difference in the temperature, seems that room temperature is adequate. There isn't any "special" preparation that I know of other than adding water.

     

    HOWEVER, sometimes cooler is nice on the body (IMHO)... it's like when a MA's hands are a bit cold at the start, there's something refreshing (and hot) about that. LOL

     

    And as Chantal says...

     

    Although it may be a little cool at first, I promise to warm you up delightfully ;)...

     

    I'd agree that a nuru massage does get very hot quickly!!!

    I have been a HUGE fan of nuru for many years now and I would have to side with Gina (Urban Vibe) (Number 1) and Jessica (Indy) (Number 2) as my "all-time" favourites.

     

    Although, Alexandria is new at this I have enjoyed sessions with her. Vitto has always provided great session so I may have to check out her with nuru, I suspect that will be great also.

    Actually, I heard it happened to some guy (fortunately not me) at the old Natural Point spa, many years ago. Some other guy hid under one of the massage tables after his session was over (and he was supposed to have already walked out the front door), and he popped up from underneath during the next guy's session. This was what Erica/Jennifer told me had happened to her many years earlier when she worked there.

     

    I think I would put this in with the "urban myths"... sounds good but perhaps is just folklore.

    Hmmm, OK guess I'll be the odd one. LOL I really don't think I could or would... For me a relationship is a one-to-one thing, as simple as that.

     

    Not saying that others couldn't or can't do it... just saying I doubt that I could so I wouldn't be open to it.

     

    Now if someone was leaving or had left the business that something totally different and I'd be open to that but not while they were in it.

    I do understand your concern but I have seen a flow of traffic coming from independents that scream the same thing to neighbours.

     

    I do not think I have been at a spa, here in the city, that didn't take the utmost care to protect an individual's privacy.

     

    I have been more at ease with my privacy visiting some spas than independents.

     

    My 2 cents... but find what you are comfortable. Good luck.

    Well the one difference is that Jessica offers the Nuru Oil massage... not sure if the others do or not... BUT the Nuru is an experience in itself and then to add Jessica to the mix is mind-blowing! Trust me... been there and done it!
