  1. Huh? Are we talking about the same place... corner of Somerset where it becomes Wellington?

I was there a few years ago and found it to be very clean... haircuts to the front and massage rooms to the rear, everything was very neatly laid out and very clean.

  2. I can't help you with the massage parlor questions, I have never been to one.

Well then I can help here... I only go for massages.

I've been having RMT massages for years now (desk work). Can I consider a massage with an MA the same relief? i.e. can the massage aspect be just as good as, say, a sports massage?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no... BUT there are some (a few) that have had RMT training BUT keep that business side seperate from their "erotic" massage... you get the best of both worlds.

Is it common that MAs book a hotel for a day? By common, I mean is it the norm and I shouldn't worry?

Some "indys" do and, dependent on the hotel and area, you should feel safe. One of my all-time favourites went indy for awhile and used to book in a couple of hotels and I followed her to them... never did I feel that I should worry about my safety.

When I am at a spa - do I also tip the house?

There is a "door fee" and then there is "tipping" which covers the cost of... after that there's no need to tip further unless you want to. Some feel the need to... I personally don't but I do return quite often as repeat business.

    Are the towels always fresh

Again this would really depend on the spa BUT... I have NEVER felt the need to bring my own towel... and I have been to some of the less "nice" spas here in the city. Normally you'll see the ladies changing the towels at the end of your session as a time-saver for them. With one regular spot we have had discussion of laundry saving tips because of the amount of washing that is involved at the spa.

    Hope this helps some...

Go have a good time... relax and enjoy the massage!

  3. Is there a list of nuru providers,

The only one that I know that offers it regularly is Jessica... there was one other that did for some but she doesn't anymore.

I'm thinking that it's a bit more expensive than the normal oil used but the difference is amazing... try Jessica and if you don't like I'll refund your money, BUT you do like and you owe me one Nuru massage from her! LOL

A very safe wager for me! LOL

  4. Wow... I must be an extremely lucky guy, I've had a few Birthday treats although they have been with ladies (two different MAs) that I have seen a few times before. The usual fantastic service but at a much reduced rate. And no don't ask who (seems to be a rarity and I'm not messing it up, LOL)... but they're out there once a connection is made... well for me they were.

As an aside though... with either of the ladies I never asked and only under protest did I agree.

And as for a "benefit's card" I've known three (again MAs) that used to offer 5th and 10th visits discounts.

  5. all I can say is WOW! It's an experience that you have to try (at the very least) once.

I have had a couple of massages using Nuru and I would absolutely agree with Jessica... I was shocked to feel the difference between this and oil!

I've not had the pleasure of Jessica and Nuru but I have had the Jessica experience with just oil and that was GREAT!... but those two ingredients (Jessica & Nuru) would be mind-blowing and I worry about my poor old heart! LOL

  6. they do get busted once in a while

Very, and I do mean very, rarely does this happen... and if they are "busted" it is usually a result of a compliant or the possibilities of human trafficking/smuggling.

I've been going to spas 17+ years and have never felt in any danger of being busted.

  7. Jaynie's Relaxation?

I remember her when she was at the corner of Wellington and Holland... one of my first here in Ottawa.

Lots of candles... shame the building burnt though... not sure how that happened? LOL (That is a joke and no way implying anything... but it did burn down)

  8. I had wondered why ALO had a guy "Vitto" working when I first saw the name on their schedule. LOL

Then I was at Luna to see some one else, who was busy, and "Vitto" had answered the door... I stayed and had a great time... and laugh as she definitely ain't no guy! Lovely lady she is.

  9. Is this Triple A Spa... 175 Montreal Road?

    Additional Comments:

    Sweet 300...

We are Ottawa's newest adult cinema, peep show, and sex shop. We have two separate theaters. Our theaters play adult movies all day long. We have five private rooms for your relaxing pleasure. Each private room contains a leather love seat, a big screen TV, and a large selection of adult movies at your fingertips. We have two peep show rooms which feature exotic models, teases, toy and prop shows, and burlesque shows.

  10. It is her reputation that will determine if she can succeed whether as an Indy or in a Spa. It may be easier, like many others have said, to start in a Spa... less overhead and expenses BUT it will be reputation that will be important...

There are many examples of ladies whom, starting in a Spa, have gone on to having a dedicated following when they have gone Indy... and there are many examples of ladies whom, for their own reason, have gained a following and remained working at Spas. The commonality of both are that they have, whether Indy or Spa, maintained a great reputation.

  11. OK... I'll be the first to admit I do use them. I find them a easier to locate a specific lady I have in mind rather than searching through the forums. AND I like them... they are not overbearing, off to the side and quick and easy to use.

  12. They have to maintain a reputation, a bad review or comment could negatively affect their business since they are the employee/owner/marketer.

I was quite confused with the whole door price, service price thing. The MA that I visited was very upfront with what I was going to expect on her website

    Agree, somewhat agree and agree...

All MAs and SPs have their reputation to maintain... they earn or don't earn on their reps...

However, if there are multiples of MAs working in one Spa then their overhead is reduced dramatically then if they were working as an Indy. Overhead is born by the Spa and their reputation is born by them. That's perhaps why some of the higher-rep MAs move on to become Indys... their reputation allows them more freedom to become an Indy.

And I also experienced the very confusing "door price" and "tips"... it is horrendous... and much worse many years ago. Today, with CERB, at least there are many opportunities to get a much better understanding of what the pricing will be... just look at some of the adverts; it's clearly stated in some.

Years ago you never knew what any prices (door/tip) were when entering a Spa and you couldn't even get a hint of it... some places wouldn't even admit to tipping taking place. And they were sometimes drastically different from Spa to Spa.

So we, well as I see it, agree on most of the points... if not all the points.
