  1. My mommy sharing her awesome recipes with me on the phone because she wants me to eat well :)
  2. I decided to go for a walk even when I knew it was cold out but sunny so it wouldn't be that bad, especially after yucky Yesterday, wind was bad but still enjoyed the walk, especially the part where I coincidentally (ok not so much of a coincidence) saw a bakery and walked in for coffee and cookies which would be a highlight if it wasn't because those cookies were EXQUISITE!!! Probably the best I've had and I only bought 2 and there's no way I'll go back :(
  3. While I would not consider someone asking me for change cheap as he is totally entitled to it, I agree with what many had pointed out here, most of us providers post our fees in ads, websites or/and profiles so is not like the client who walks somewhere not knowing how much he will spend. Now, if I were the kind of provider who is a clock watcher and as soon as I see the hour or two are almost over start rushing things then I would understand clients being as careful with their money as I am with my time but with me not working like that then I think someone asking me for a $5 or $10 back would be as awkward and inappropriate as me saying 'Time is up' please leave besides, for safety purposes I do not keep cash on me other than a $20 and maybe some spare change but I would find it awkward to have to go get my purse and that to give someone change back and having to count dimes, quarters. etc. to give someone change back. However IF an exceptional situation presented with someone I had previously met and let's say he knows he only has $100 bills and would need $80 back but will have no time to stop by a bank or ATM or for discretion purposes can't take money out from ATM, then as long as I'm giving enough notice I wouldn't mind having the change ready for him in an envelope same way my fee is given to me and would give it to him upon arrival after getting my envelope and as usual not mention anything about it during our time together but as I said this would be an exception and would only do it for someone I consider reliable.
  4. Slept in after a busy weekend (amazing how an extra hour makes a difference) had some of my favourite cookies for breakfast and now I'm more than ready to officially start my day and week :)
  5. OMG I am so sorry I didn't explain more about the story behind the video and that it wasn't a real wedding :icon_redface: Thank you so much Jafo for doing it for me. You are correct, this gentleman is in stage 4 of cancer and decided to plan this very special moment for him and his daughter.
  6. You have to watch this I watched it twice yesterday and cried both times, this is the way any dad should love his kids and should show them how much he would do for them.
  7. It really works, I notice I make my best decisions when I stop thinking and just quietly 'listen' to myself. I just have to work on remembering that so I can do it more often :)
  8. One of the best highlights is when your day is only starting and you just know it will be a good one and that's how I feel today and I so hope I'm right :)
  9. Frank's post made me realise that we could also include tips on how to correctly make affirmations in order for them to work, if what we are asking for is right for us that is :) Here is a link I read for those interested in learning more. How to make/write affirmations '
  10. Cristy, I shared my weakness for sweets and being a foodie but didn't mention the healthy side of me which you also asked, every morning before eating anything and even before brushing my teeth (is how is supposed to be) I drink a glass of warm water with half lemon/lime they say it cleanses the body and is a great detox. I also TRY to buy food with no preservatives but is not that easy anymore.
