  1. I have been a member of CERB now for a little over a year. I joined because I wanted to communicate with SPs and MAs and their clients. The "recommendation" part of the name intrigued me. I am not a frequent hobbyist but I have done it for many years (since 1956). So hearing about the escort and massage scene that is going on nowadays was of great interst to me. The recommendation part of the Board turned out to be fascinating. People were having wonderful experiences, and ladies and gents were always curteous and complimentary. I was particularly pleased with the friendly "tone" of the Board. I soon learned that sex is a frequent topic here, it is by no means the only one. Members have questions about all sorts of worldly issues: computers crashing or being infected by viruses; the Habs losing; a member or a loved one getting seriously ill; funny jokes in words or pics; politics and work. Really, the range of topics is endless and makes one want to check in every day. The responses members provide to questions are informed and always very sympathetic. New members sometimes apologize for the question they are about to ask, but always get very helpful and kind answers. I never would have thought a Board could work so well. Credit must go to the members for their enthusiasm and the time they give. Much credit, of course, goes to the MOD who monitors the Board with sympathy and firmness. I would love to find out if you agree that CERB is a community. What is it about this Board that keeps you coming back?
  2. Meg dear, you are a favourite at CERB, I keep up with your posts and I enjoy them very much. Your blond jokes are hilarious. Please keep your posts coming.
  3. A most Happy Birthday, RG. May all your wishes come true.
  4. Some CERB members who are giving advice on this thread appear to be good candidates for the priesthood
  5. I am pleased that the ladies are to the left of the guys. I hope. though. that more ladies vote.
  6. Well said Phaedrus. I hope the MOD hears.
  7. Thanks MOD, for clarifying some issues pertaining to rep points. Regarding the question you ask, I suggested what you propose in my second post on this thread. While I have your attention, would you mind clarifying the rules regarding "spreading rep points"?
  8. I always trust WrinkledinTime, but that is NOT because he has the highest reputation on CERB. (I checked up on you anyway and you are right). I also agree with Isabella Gia entirely. Unfortunately, I could not simply click on her reputation button to say this. I was told I had to spread reputation points around. (I was told the same for WrinkledinTime) and and therefore was forced to use my lousy keyboarding skills. To WIT, or anyone else. What are the rules for spreading reputation points around? When does one get blocked from assigning rep points to a post?
  9. I guess I just don't get the connection between having some "reputation", based on the evaluation (pos or neg) of posts by CERB members, and being "trustworthy". I doubt that I would necessarily buy a used car, or invest my money with, from someone whose posts on CERB readers agreed with or found interesting. There is one limited sense of "trustworthy" that maybe connected to the evaluation of posts. After readers have found a few posts to be OK, the MOD can be assured that the new member is not likely to subvert the purpose of the forum. But that limited sense of "trustworthy", does not warrant a general attribution of "not yet trustworthy" to alll new members of CERB
  10. Thanks for Boomer for referring me to the Rules and FAQ section. I read that, but was still confused about a number of issues. The excellent answer by WIT clarified most issues. I did not realize the process was this complex. Thanks WIT for sharing your extensive knowlege. I think you are the most informed member of Lyla, even though you may not be the cutest. I have one more concern. I find it a bit offensive when members with no rep points are told that they "haven't proven trustworthy yet". I do not see why new members are told they are untrustworthy. Just tell them they have not yet earned reputation points.
  11. How are reputation points earned? Are there different weights for different comments? What happens to reputation points when the comments are negative? Do "post nominations" earn reputation points? Sorry for asking, if the answers to these questions are well known, but I could not find anything regarding them on the forum.
  12. Thanks WIT for doing this poll. I am personally very interested in the outcome. I am surprised at the large number of CERB members who intend to vote Conservative. I am sure a continuing Harper government will not have a positive attitude towards sex workers. I personally intend to vote Liberal.
  13. Dear Dorinda, Best wishes for your future path.
  14. A perfect way to sum up a complicated issue. I agree completely with your conclusion.
  15. There is no need to blush, Samantha. You deserve the accolades. Just enjoy
  16. Samantha, I quite agree with the tenor of your quote, with a minor correction. The original article says that the FEDERAL Gov (under PM Harper) is appealing the decision by Judge Himel. I think the decision to appeal the decision is a symbolic gesture to the right wing of the Conservative Party. It may motivate a few Conservatives to vote in the coming election.
  17. Cato, What if the others were bending over? Would you like them? I think I would.
  18. I agree with most who have posted on this thread. I agree that MAs and SPs are separate professions. They have different and individual reasons for doing what they do and clients have their own reasons for seeking the services of one or the other. There is one noticeable difference that stands out between the two professions. There appears to be a substantial gap in compensation between the two services. It would be a difficult task to conduct a definitive survey of the rates charged by MAs and SPs. However, a casual reading of posts on CERB, websites of providers and newspaper ads suggest to me that the gap for one hour of service is in favour of SPs by an amount of about $60. What are the reasons for this gap? I realize and agree that rates are set by individual ladies; they are non-negotiable and clients have no business challenging them; they vary among MAs and SPs. But as a group there still seems to be a gap. Why? Overhead and preparation are not the likely answer. They appear to me similar in both cases. Nor is effort. If anything, a massage requires more effort and possibly a higher level of training than providing a GFE experience. Better answers appear to be risk. Services such as FS, BJ, DATY, and DIGITS create more risk for the provider and because of this risk they are better compensated. Another possible answer is intimacy. The GFE services provided by a SP are psychologically and physically more intimate. They therefore require a greater willingness to be "giving" which in turn deserves higher compensation. These are just some thoughts on the question. Why do you think the compensation gap exists?
  19. Congratulations, WIT. I always look for your posts, read and enjoy them. Thanks and keep them coming.
  20. Have you ever wondered why some ladies choose to be MAs while others prefer to be SPs. They both provide erotic services, but in general, the services provided by MAs are more circumscribed and limited (massage, possibly some reverse massage, and a happy ending usually by way of a handjob). The services of an SP are more are more varied and usually include CFS, BJ (covered or BB), often DATY and DIGITS. So then, what are the reasons ladies choose one or the other? Is it health and safety concerns, level of intimacy desired, avoidance of possible discomfort (as in DATY or DIGITS), or is it that MAs are less likely to come to the attention of the law than SPs?. Which of these or what other reasons underly the choice to be MA or SP? As for the guys, what reasons prompt them to seek the services provided by MAs vs. SPs?
  21. You have no reason to feel awkward or embarrassed when visiting the personal sites of other CERB members. CERB is a community and members feel a need to get to know other members. I for one am always pleased when someone visits my site, whether they leave a message or not.
  22. In a recent post, AngelaofOttawa wrote: "For example, I've met some gents who do not realize that other gents who can't achieve erection can actually orgasm and ejaculate. I suppose if it's never happened to them, they wouldn't know that." Angela did not provide further details. I am sure there is a vast amount of knowledge among CERB members (both ladies and gents) on how to enhance and maximize their own and their partners' sexual pleasure. Let us start with Angela's statement that "gents who can't achieve erection can actually orgasm and ejaculate". (I did not realize this.) What techniques can be used to make this happen? How can you prolong the pleasure of someone who is prone to premature ejaculation? How do you discover the area of the body that makes a partner scream from pleasure? Suggestions and examples please.
