A stronger core can make injury less likely. Depending on where you are in your yoga  (beginner, novice etc) you may need to strengthen the core. Maybe you have to be more deliberate and careful when changing and holding positions. Control it to prevent injury.

Other than basics like that I don't know anything of back pain thank goodness 🙂 I hope you have worked it out by now 😃

Oops I see this was about pain (already occured) and not prevention. My bad

Bingo. My business went through an expansion that went south in a hurry and I was forced to put 15-18 hour days in on my feet walking and operating equipment.  The business was saved and, for some reason, my back has never been better than in the  last 18 months of the last  10  years. Excercise and core strenght are key. Before the forced workouts, my back would go out every time I laid down.

Well just an update if anyone cares, I have pretty much dissolved the relationship just recently. In looking back and being sensible I came to realize my feelings were being exploited for financial gain. There's a big hole in my life now, but I think I should just move on and experience life in the real world again. Thanks again for all the insights, I should have asked a long time ago and saved myself a lot of heartache.

I feel for you. There are some marvelous people on here, but there is also the odd  deceptive one. I got taken by a deceptive one. Nobody to blame but myself. Like you, I should maybe have asked others. Likely wouldn't have listened anyways. Having said that, the majority here are straight up good folks. However, be very careful when approaching the line.

  3. First time back in awhile and my first thought is.........fuck, I'm glad I wasn't drunk and opened this thread. Prices in this biz are all over the place. I have paid 180-300 per hour and have regretted not a one encounter.Would I go higher? Actually, I would go higher before I'd go lower. Unless a lady is just getting into the business and looking to build clientele, there's a chance for a deal on an undiscovered gem, but it's a crap shoot. For the record, my most memorable encounter was my most expensive one...........and I repeated, and will again. Tried and true works for me. Vegas would chew me up and spit me out. Now.......back to the rum and the blizzard in NS.

  4. Lending money to someone you considered a friend and realizing after a long time, that you have been had. Fak......wtf is wrong with some people? On the upside, you come to the realization that they were not a real friend and the money lost means they are finally out of your life. Maybe a good investment, after all. P.S. I've been drinking and may have already posted about this, lol.

  5. I'll do my best to be crisp and clean in the dental hygiene area, but if kissing is off the menu from the get go, then likely so am I. Mutual respect is key, but a good part of the girl friend aspect is the fantasy that this is not just a "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am". As a lady here once told me, "I love you as much as I can". To me, that's just about the best confirmation of mutual respect and comfort that one could offer or receive.
