  1. Oh this is such a great foodie thread! I love it! I had some leftover spinach and cheese ravioli from last night, and then figured I should eat some veggies with it, so I sauteed some onions, mushrooms, and asparagus with almonds and lemon juice, and steamed an artichoke. So yummy!
  2. I've been wanting to read Gone Girl for months! I second that choice, Peachy!
  3. From every thread I've read on cerb and every SP I've met, it seems that SPs (and probably lots of clients) are way more informed about STIs and protection than a large part of the general public, and I say that as someone who regularly talks to large groups of people in the general public about STI prevention. I think it's pretty amazing that there are so many conversations happening here about safer sex, because I don't think I've been part of many other communities that talk about it so regularly and openly! So I take that as a good sign :) Like others have said, of course there are always risks and STIs exist in every community. But, I think of my sexual health as part of doing my job well, among other things, and I'm sure most other SPs do too. And that is not necessarily true of every woman you'd pick up at a bar...
  4. In the fall, I always start to think about new ways to change up my life, and recently I've been thinking a lot about things I've always wanted to do but never seem to get around to. I don't necessarily mean the bucket list/things you have to do before you die kind of things like skydiving or visiting India (some of mine!), but more so, pretty regular activities that just switch your week up a little. So, this September I've signed up for ballroom dancing classes (mostly inspired by that dance teacher movie with Antonio Banderas :p), and have started learning to cook seafood dishes (I recently went back to fish after 14 years of being a vegetarian... turns out I love oysters!). What are some of these "always wanted to do things" for you? Have you tried them? How did it go? xo Audrey
  5. There are also often coupons from sites like groupon and dealfind that have pretty decent rates on nice hotels! I've bought a few in Ottawa and they've always worked out pretty well :)
  6. I've never tried numbing condoms, but cock rings often (although not always) have the same effect! And the plus side is that the person wearing it still feels as much :)
  7. Hi all, Just wanted to say that sometimes I get voicemail messages that are very difficult to make out for whatever reason - either the person's voice sounds too low on the message, or there's static, etc. and I can't make out whether or not the person has said it's okay to call them back or if they would prefer to call me back. Wanting to air on the side of discretion, I don't usually call them in case it's not a good number. So, if I haven't returned a voicemail within a day or so, I always appreciate it when someone follows up with an e-mail to say, "I left you a voicemail, but in case you didn't get it..." so that I can explain what happened! xo Audrey
  8. Lately, it's definitely the salted caramel ice cream from the red apron in Ottawa. So good! :) But also, waking up in a pool of sunshine, reading a really good book with a glass of red wine, cooking while dancing around my kitchen, and having a really good conversation, where I finish and feel like I've learned something new about myself.
  9. I love Hawaii! I've been to Maui a few times, and it's always beautiful, sunny, warm and relaxing. The people are so friendly, and the fresh pineapple and coconut is incredible! (And make for excellent pina coladas :) ).
  10. I haven't read it, but I have heard really great things about this book: http://www.amazon.ca/Coping-Erectile-Dysfunction-Regain-Confidence/dp/1572243864 Goes through all the possible causes and offers long-term plans.
  11. "Exhibitionism for the Shy" by Carol Queen, "The Fine Art of Erotic Talk" by Bonnie Gabriel and "Talk Sexy to the One you Love" by Barbara Keesling are all great. Also, I love to read erotica to get ideas of sexy things to say... Hope this helps! :)
