1. ......agree completely.. which is why a bartering site like ITEX would be perfect for these arrangements. I'm absolutely sold on the idea, just waiting for the new year to institute it. If I'm able to shop for products that I pay for anyways it's a sweet deal. When you're actually dealing with an individual it's a whole other kettle of fish... .....or mussels..........or lobster.... sorry distracted ............
2. my rates won't change on ITEX, I would receive the same number of dollars just in virtual format. I can then spend my ITEX dollars on services I would normally pay cash for.... car detaililng, spa services, hotel accommodations etc.. it's not a direct trade between two individuals, it's a trade into a virtual spending pool. It's a fabulous idea :D
3. in the future this may become an even more precarious situation ... if it's illegal to discuss our business transactions in any place a person under 18 might reasonably be expected to be, a public meeting in advance could not only be risky it could be a sting. I won't meet anyone in public without first discussing every facet of our date in private. I had a dinner date once who insisted on asking me 'twenty questions' while we dined.. it was most uncomfortable.
4. Anyone here on ITEX? I'm seriously considering becoming a member :D
5. to politely decline the request for an encounter, for whatever reason, please accept her decision politely. Please understand these decisions aren't made lightly and are the result of a number of considerations, often including but certainly not limited things such as... scheduling conflicts, personal reasons, communication styles, reference reports, posting style & history, a simple lack of chemistry... or a combination thereof. It's important to remember that a lady is balancing her requirement for income with her comfort level and her compatibility with suitors, and when the scale tips too far the wrong way, she is then faced with the delicate task of informing someone that they'd not be a good match. Interrogating a lady, insisting she provide reasons for her decision, & asking for reconsideration will rarely gain you ground, and will almost always result in a lady being very glad she made the aforementioned decision. It makes an already awkward situation even more unpleasant. Please know that a lady makes this decision carefully, and is considering your best interests as well as her own. Accept it graciously. Thank you :)
6. wow really? this sure appears to me to be a vent .... aka dirty laundry... disguised as an inquiry about others' experiences. If I'm right, you're insulting our intelligence, it's rather transparent and against the rules of CERB.
7. its out of control ... some anti c36er accused me of promoting child sex work after my recent interview for the NP. She actually tweeted that she had attended a workshop I did promoting youth sex work.... like wtf??? I immediately told her she must be mistaken, that I had never spoken in public. She did apologize and retract her statement but how many people saw it before that happened? Turns out she was falsely accusing another young lady who works with aboriginal youth. Pretty disgusting behaviour.
8. just another thought on this... I agree a condom that doesn't fit can ruin the experience. ...therefore it's also a good idea to have some smaller ones on hand, cause a condom that's too loose is also a serious problem... it can slip off and it's just plain uncomfortable, and not just physically.... for both participants. I've found the Durex "safe & secure" to be a smaller, snugger fit than most. Anyone else found a decent snug fitting brand?
9. I carry various sizes and brands, including magnums... I prefer to use my own but if a gent asks if I have his fave I like to be able to say yes. I've started keeping a few female condoms on hand also, I don't often get requests for them but again, I can say yes if I do.
10. He is very receptive to hearing all sides of this complex issue :)
11. Oh me too... but you're having that same experience with members with no posts and/or moderated accounts? That makes me wonder if some are maybe old members revisiting the site. People who are new to these sites aren't usually as etiquette or board savvy IMO.
12. I would rather someone ask for specific details ie bbbj / cbj, but I'm still not promising any service via email or phone without meeting you. I always tell gents services are dependent on their impeccable personal hygiene, and that can't be detected virtually. So really it's a moot point. Shockingly, it's not difficult to tell the difference between someone calling for coaching through an orgasm vs inquiring about service details.
13. recently I've noticed a new trend... and it's becoming quite frequent. Enough that I thought it might be worth discussion. I post in my ads that I prefer initial contact via email. However, I don't mind receiving private messages to book, especially if it's from someone I've previously met. It's discreet, convenient and works for those who might prefer no email or text trail. win/win :) It also works well for the seasoned member who has a responsible posting history, who posts respectfully worded recos and is generally well mannered on the board. I can usually expect that member to provide all the required info I need for booking in the first few messages ... not always, but usually ;) What I've noticed recently is different. I've been getting many PMs from members who either have been here for years and never posted, or have just joined and have a moderated account. When I ask that member for information to book ... such as a reference ... often they simply stop responding. I've noticed some ladies don't accept private message from anyone they haven't previously met, and I'm sure in some cases this is the reason for that. I'd like to keep my PM box open to all those interested in reaching out, but I'm seriously considering otherwise. Thanks for reading :)
14. hmm the link is working for me. there's a video link on the right slightly down the page.... it's a Full Comment Video interview, not an article. if that doesn't work try googling today's full comment on NP you will find it... if anyone else has trouble with the link let me know :)
15. someone has a way with words!! brilliantly written piece thanks so much for sharing this! Highlighting my fave lines .... these are just priceless!! Jess xo [I] RSS COME FOR THE SEX, STAY FOR THE JAIL TERM On August 15, 2014 by Dave Johnson Bill Thomas â??I wonder why prostitution is illegal. Why should it be illegal to sell something thatâ??s perfectly legal to give away?â? . George Carlin . Last year the Supreme Court of Canada threw out the old and archaic laws on prostitution and recently Justice Minister Peter MacKay replaced them with a new and even more archaic set of laws. Bill C-36 is designed to abolish prostitution in Canada, a prospect with as much chance of success as world peace, a clean planet and the Nobel Peace Prize for Vladimir Putin. Canadaâ??s new prostitution law would make it legal to sell sex and illegal to buy it. How it works is, if youâ??re a provider of sex you are now a legitimate, single-proprietorship, business retailer and if youâ??re a customer, youâ??re a criminal. (Peter: The correct economic theory is supply and demand. Not supply and reprimand.) In Canada, the worldâ??s oldest profession just became the countryâ??s most confusing occupation. â??Hi, câ??mon in. See anything you like? Yeah, well stick â??em up! Youâ??re under arrest.â? Now if you think this is kind of stupid, you donâ??t know Canada. Thatâ??s how we do things here. In Canada, in the 1950â?²s we developed the Avro Arrow. Twenty years ahead of it time, the Avro Arrow was a fast and furious military fighter jet without equal in the world. At enormous cost and with the finest of scientific minds we built an aircraft that could fly circles around Cold War enemies. So we cancelled the program, destroyed all the planes, burned any evidence of its existence and flew the sole surviving models into Lake Ontario. Why? Because we felt like it. In Canada, in the 1990â?²s we had perhaps the greatest multinational communication consortiums in the world. Nortel employed 100,000 people with capital of $400 billion. The Canadian government watched this telecom company disintegrate into bankruptcy as the shareholders cleaned the carcass and then all the high tech component companies were auctioned off to foreign interest so they could then cripple the growth of other hi-tech companies back home. Why? It sounded like a good idea at the time. In Canada we created a huge nonprofit, conservation organization with a half million enthusiastic members. The Ducks Unlimited people manage wetlands and bird habitants in order to promote a larger and healthier population of waterfowl. And then they shoot them. Why? Why not? In Canada, we be loony. So to a Canadian, the new prostitution law â?? hookers happy, johns in jail â?? makes perfect sense. The new sell and buy law is a lot like taking your car into Jiffy Lube to get your oil changed and after you pay for the job you find yourself calling a friend from jail, asking for bail money and a ride home. Applying this legal/illegal business model, McDonaldâ??s would definitely not have been as successful as they are today by selling 260 billion burgers and then having their customers escorted out of the restaurant in handcuffs. Three years away from its 150th birthday, Canada is still a relatively young country. Russia, by comparison is 5,000 years old and before Bush and Cheney turned the â??Cradle of Civilizationâ? into â??Hell on Earth,â? Iraq was way older than Christ. As a youngster on this plant we tend to do really stupid things and then lock ourselves in our room for long periods of time. Plus, we elect people to office who couldnâ??t organize sex in a bordello which brings us back to a prostitution law that makes you think our justice minister was swarmed and badly stung at five years of age during his â??birds and beesâ?? talk. The new Canadian law is not quite as bazaar as the law in the State of Montana which considers prostitution a â??crime against the family.â? Some family! Although thereâ??s probably something sinister in that rule, the most egregious Montana law is the one that makes it illegal for a married woman to fish alone on Sunday. Thatâ??s the one thatâ??s keeping me awake at night. All this is just as confusing as a recent headline in Italian newspapers that read: â??Prostitutes appeal to Pope.â? To be clear, the prostitutes were petitioning the Pope for his help with serious issues in their sex trade industry. The Pope, I repeat, the Pope does not find prostitutes appealing. I mean, câ??mon â?? the Popemobile doesnâ??t even have a backseat! Justice Minister Peter MacKay can be forgiven for his confusion about how the sex trade business works. For one thing â??the house of ill reputeâ? no longer refers to a brothel. In Canada over time, â??the house of ill reputeâ? has become the nickname for the House of Commons. With no less than four Canadian senators either now charged or about to be charged with financial crimes, the â??house of sober second thoughtâ? has become an exclusive club for power-drunk thieves. The fact that MacKay visits these places almost every day is no reflection on his character. I believe it was Dave Broadfoot, our father of comedy who said: â??The problem in Canada with political jokes is that so many of them get elected.â? Amen. 16. thanks for the nominations & thanks ladies and gents... another win for the HHC! The support far outweights the few negative nancy's.... and this is further evidence of that! thank you! :D
17. I've made some changes to my plans with this in mind ...and although you're probably still right here, I think I've left myself enough time to see some sights! I've got time to spend in the Bay of Fundy, Cape Breton, and travelling across the Rock. So exciting!
18. I'm a serious plan-aheader ... will be visiting in mid september ;)
19. ummm she didn't just steal her pics, she stole her WHOLE AD. Warning has been posted on the other board also. Shameful, I sure hope CK is on top of this ... but somehow I have no doubt. He's always on top of these things ;)
