  1. Well to keep the trend of model/actress/musician... Milla Jovovich - The Alien Song To give some variety on where someone can go with this one... The song is from Milla's first album 'The Divine Comedy' which she released in 1994 at the age of 19. Most of the songs off of the album were written when she was 16. PS - supposedly she's some kind of expert in martial arts as well (that should open some doors for the next post)...
  2. For what it's worth Pete - you were one of the men who answered my very silly questions back before my first date and I really appreciated your time and advice! It's sad to read that you will no longer be posting; and I'm hope the hostility here goes back to a minimum and that you some day re-appear as a poster. Take care!
  3. I found that those weren't into Megadeath in the early 90's wound up liking Metallica... so... here's my favourite Metallica song One -
  4. for some reason the first song that came to mind after hearing that one was Rod Stewart's "Hot Legs" (up around my face) ;-)

    rocking body! welcome to CERB...
  6. Odd... and my 5 speeding tickets in the last 6 years doesn't seem to be an issue on their application. If they just left it as "Criminal Code of Canada convictions in the last 5 years" - good to go, but their list seems a bit off... putting someone who's committed arson causing property damage in the same category as a "prostitute" seems weird to me.... And you'd think dangerous operation and impaired operation would be offences making you incompatible for the program for life....

    Totally sexy shot Mary!
  8. Recently I attended a dinner to honour Veteran's - we had vets from WWII, Korean War, and the Cold War in attendance; there were some VERY moving stories and memories that they shared. This morning I logged onto facebook to see one of my friends share the following video that means a great deal to me (for reasons I won't share here) and wanted to share the video
  9. Thanks qwerty! She's a real gem :-) And now for some of my favourite celebrity boobies :-)
  10. Happy Birthday Andy - hope you have an awesome day!
  11. Thanks RG - my hat is off to all the SAR techs that work year round saving the life of others while putting their own at risk. A trade that is full of amazing men and women!

    awesome picture - simply captivating!
  13. It's got this on her profile right now ... Last Activity: 10-26-2011 04:59 PM So she hasn't been around since Wednesday afternoon...
  14. Mama said knock you out - was an AWESOME song (then again I liked LL in my teen years) - songs about boxing... there's the easy Rocky reference but I thought of a bit more of an obscure one first...
  15. I wonder where that tradition as a whole has started, in the last 4 years I've had approx 50-60 flags attached to the ceiling of our staff car at work. At any given time we have a minimum of 10 flags there.
  16. Being that Carl Douglas is Jamaican born I got to thinking of all the Jamaican artists that I enjoy (and there is a list of them) But the song that keeps playing in my head is Shaggy - It Wasn't Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngGgcnJL5G4
  17. I spent the early morning hours talking to an awesome woman I did well on my exam this morning I've made some new friendships on CERB My hockey team is finally showing up to hockey games (tonight is their 3rd win in a row - go habs go!)
  18. CL is FULL of weirdos and people misrepresenting themselves; don't waste your time. I'm fairly new around these parts (been here 4.5 / 5 months) and the ladies of CERB are FANTASTIC!! They put you at ease and I promise that there are no "weirdos" here (in relation to the women anyway...) ;-) Best of luck find what you're looking for here.
  19. About 1.5 months ago I asked this question from the side of would an SP date a Hobbyist not really thinking about how I would respond to the idea of an SP wanting to date me. It's been said a couple times; but I also agree - it's a complicated answer. There is no way I would say no though; it would take time and talking it through. The profession does complicate things a little bit, but what relationship doesn't have complications? I've never dated an SP but yet every relationship I've had was complicated (some VERY complicated!) If the SP were willing to work on the relationship slowly with me I would definitely give it a go. But that's any relationship isn't it? There's a couple SP's on here that I've enjoyed chatting with and getting to know and would definitely go on a date with them (non business) if given the chance. As tomarcusfenix in your post asking if you were a bad person; from my perspective I don't think you were a bad person for ending everything. You knew what you were and weren't comfortable with. You ended things when they weren't comfortable any longer; it's better than leading the lady on thinking it might lead somewhere; no different than any other relationship that a person ends when they're not comfortable in it any longer... Additional Comments: I wish I made enough money to spend 25k a year on vacations!! heh
  20. scribbles, I bet you have some pretty amazing stories! My grandfather was unable to talk about any of his time in the war. All I know now is where he was and his medals (including the purple heart); and I only know that because I was able to get a copy of his service records after his death. I love spending every November 11th at a Legion visiting with Veteran's and hearing their stories. I'm not sure how much longer it's on display for, but there has been a Medical Group exhibition on display at the War Museum for the last little bit that has a ton of information and history about what they lived through - made me stop and appreciate all the luxuries that I have in life.
  21. To the masses of CERB I do apologize for posting my statement on this specific thread; while I don't feel any less intense about my statement - there's a time and a place and the thread for either. As Julia stated I did not intend harm, nor is it meant as a literal our troops should shoot people - nor was it to detract for those that have served in the past. My great grandfather served in the British Navy, my grandfather and great uncle both served in the American Navy and I'm a current serving member of the Royal Canadian Navy and I have lost too many personal friends in the last 5 years. A statement was made that elicited a strong emotional response from me. Again my apologies to the masses for posting my statement here. Back on topic: I wouldn't even be alive today without the troops of the past. My grandmother on my father's side of the family lived in occupied Holland during the war and was only able to move to Canada because of the outcome of the war. My thoughts are with the fallen soldiers and civilians of the past that have helped shape our world as it exists today. Our freedom of speech and freedom of movement exist because of their sacrifices... As a side note that is starting to emerge more and more - loosing our troops isn't just a physical meaning in the sense of them dieing in action; but also the men and women who come home very different than how they left home (mentally that is).
  22. bah since it cute my reputation statement off: "Although it seems American and ridiculous; believe it or not - the bumper sticker that states it has been produced and sold by the Canadian Legion"
  23. Through viewing the ads here I know there's a couple who advertise as being in the St Laurent area; plus anyone who advertises as being in Alta Vista is also essentially St Laurent.
  24. Really? If you don't stand behind our troops feel free to stand in front of them! That'll be my only and last comment to any type of negative comments.
  25. Just remember it's not the soldiers who decide where we go - we're told where to go and when. Thank goodness for the "Support Our Troops" campaign becoming so big in Canada. Thanks Spuds - if we're not overseas we forget that (there's a great deal of "your military sucks" attitude from the USA); but anytime we go overseas the appreciation is felt - especially when taking part in the yearly Nijmegen marches. Attached is one of my fav poppy pictures
