  1. I'm far from a professional in science or medical field.

My unknowing thought is with vaping you are still putting particles in your lungs. Cigarettes were around long before research began on how unhealthy they are. I wonder how long it will take before we find out if there are consequences to vaping.

There's plenty of research out there at the moment detailing the safety of vaping when compared to smoking. 95% percent safer in one study, as an example. However, you are right, we don't know long term affects yet. And that's why vaping is about "harm reduction".

If I had a choice of inhaling just a few chemicals with vaping or 4000+ with smoking, the choice is pretty clear for me...especially when quitting cold turkey, or any other common method, just won't work.

Anyway, I won't ramble...lol...there's a lot of misinformation out there....

  2. .... Still uneasy but I assume it's no different than coming off ativan.

It took me a week or 2 to adjust when I quit and started vaping. It affects everyone differently.

While you'll get you nicotine from your vape, there are 4000+ chemicals in cigarette smoke, and you're going to have withdrawal symptoms from those. I was light headed and "out of it" for a good week or more.

But, I never would have quit without vaping, it's the only thing that worked for me.

    Good luck!!!

  3. No recommendations for shops as I don't know your area, but...

    Perhaps browse E Cigarette Forum:

    https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/

Lots of knowledgeable vapers there and you're bound to get better advice from them than most shops.

Nicotine is going to vary somewhat from person to person. It'll depend on the type of tank your using and, of course, your body.

If you have questions, I've been at it for a while and I can do my best to answer... :)

  4. Was just fretting over this the other day...

I was once an avid reader and a very good writer. So good, I was always encouraged by my professors, and those who knew me well, to peruse that in some form.

Over the years, though, with an exhausting job and other commitments, I rarely have the time to read or write, or the energy, and those skills have suffered considerably. Now, it's usually TV or messing around on the phone/computer when I have down time.

But, I have a feeling if those distractions weren't available, I'd get back into my old (good) habits. Will admit, though, it's my own fault and not that of technology....

  5. After attempting periodically over the last couple of years to meet Brooklyn, I was finally able to do so recently.

While taking nothing away from all the other lovely women I've met, and will absolutely revisit again at some point, Brooklyn was something special. Very passionate, warm, welcoming, intelligent, playful, and funny. I don't think I've ever felt quite so "wanted" before in this lifestyle. Just an overall amazing experience!

Due to responsibilities in my own life, I'm not able to visit ladies often (Brooklyn was the first in almost 1 1/2 years), but I'll absolutely be meeting her as often as I can...and I gotta feeling it'll be sooner rather than later. ;)

    Thanks, Brooklyn! :)

  6. I'm not very active in this "lifestyle" these days as I never seem to have time (been well over a year since my last date), but I do keep up with these boards and Twitter...

I feel nothing but sympathy (not the best word, perhaps) for the ladies. The current environment, not just the loss of BP, is putting many of them at risk and is unacceptable. There is little I'm able to do personally other than voice my support. I do believe solutions will be found that will allow a return to normalcy, but the intervening months are going to be rough, I think.

  7. I just upgraded to Windows 10 and Edge browser, the main welcome page with the chat box etc. shows up and is stretched three screens wide, it is only the main page that does this. Any tips/suggestion to resolve this other than don't use Edge?

    Thanks and regards

There's nothing you can do on your end. LYLA will need to troubleshoot their code for the site: it appears to be an issue with the CSS for the shoutbox.

  8. Not a single guy took a shot at her yet?

I spoke to her on the phone, she sounded busy, another phone going in background.

She sounded nice enough, 240 full service gfe and beebeebeejay. Shower and a drink. yayyyy!

Also assured me those were her pics on site, said she is Japanese.

I am very tempted....no one been yet? pm if you like.

I'm sorry. But, are you not reading the posts of those that are trying to help you? How many times must someone tell you this is a bait and switch, and other warnings, before you move on?

If you're tempted, just do it and stop asking for input: you've already received plenty, but appear determined to ignore it.

    Baffling....

  9. I see that she has a 709 number listed now.....

    Anyone called or been?

PM and let me know or post here....up to you. But I'm curious for sure.

As Sophia said, read the thread in the NB section, if you haven't: fake photos. A new number changes nothing. :)

  10. ...there's a lot of people out there doing a job they'd perhaps not have chosen, but keep at it because it's better than the alternatives. I suspect most people in call centers, for example, would rather be elsewhere...

I think that's an important distinction that Phaedrus makes.

The trafficking side of things, and all that entails, is one thing. And something that certainly needs to combated and curtailed.

The other side of the forced coin is that of circumstance and opportunity. Circumstances and lack of other opportunities cause many (I'd argue the majority...that's another discussion) to work jobs they don't like. It's a simple fact of life...regardless of economic system.

We do what we need to, honestly and with honour, in order to put food on the table and there's absolutely no shame in that. The opposite, in fact. And that's what the "Sex work is work" movement is promoting, in my opinion.

  11. I'm @warped88cerb on Twitter.

I deactivated the account months ago when I "disappeared" for a while. So, just in case some didn't know I came back. The account is private, but if I know you're from here, I normally approve the follow request.

I'm far more active there than here. Silly stuff, though....I don't take myself too seriously.

  12. If we're talking solely about sites like Craigslist where the posts are about as anonymous as you can get, then no. The negatives (and even positives) the get posted are something I totally ignore. There's just no way to determine validity.

I will, however, pay attention to what someone says if they have an easily traceable history online (site like LYLA, Twitter, etc.). How closely I pay attention depends on my feelings towards that person and the impression they've made on me. Still, as always, one needs to "Make up their own damned mind." :)

    Anyway...my 2 cents.

  13. ... can you move your music purchases from your Apple products to a Android, such as the new galaxy 4-5...I'm asking...anyone know. Thanks

    Short answer is...Yes. Absolutely.

Longer answer would depend on how you play your music in the home and if your music is stored locally or with Apple in the cloud.

Generally, you can copy and paste the songs, or there are third party apps to handle the export/import for you.

  14. Phones are very much a personal thing these days...

Me, I don't like Apple and like Google far, far less. I doubt Blackberry will be around in 5 years, so that leaves Windows Phone for me. I'm heavily invested in MS's ecosystem, so that made sense for me. Plus, I just prefer the OS.

    But, that's just me.

For you, sticking with Android sounds the way to go. Plenty of great phones out there, and if price isn't a concern, going with a high-end flagship makes sense. Samsung is probably the most popular out there, but there are certainly others.

Have a look at the reviews on Android Central and read the forums for the models that may interest you. That should help in the decision.

    Good luck!
