  1. Tapatalk was, in my opinion, just a much easier (and quicker) way to access forums. Always out performed the browser for me by a wide margin. And most forums aren't very optimized (if at all) for mobile browsing. For a user who followed various forums, it was even easier.

That said, I stopped using them quite a while back. I didn't like the way they did business and they earned a place on my "Do not trust" list. Some forum admins refused to install as well due to security concerns.

Anywho...they did make it easier to browse forums from mobile in my mind and many love the app.

  2. Melissa in the title and Melanie in the body of the ad.

Honestly, If there's any doubt whatsoever- or something seems even a little off- completely write the interest off and move on. It's not worth it. It's the only way to "play", in my opinion.

Granted, there can be legitimate reasons for anything, but there's little room for "benefit-of-the-doubt" in this business...that goes for both us and the lady.

    My two cents. :)

  3. "Theoretically" I have no issue travelling a fair distance to meet a lady. Realistically, though, it's proven near impossible.

My daily life rarely involves travel outside my city, so my absence would be noticed and any cover story too far outside my normal routine. When I do travel, it's almost always family related and impossible to make time for anything else.

There are one or two ladies on this board that don't travel here, and I've been trying to "get away" for a better part of a year. Ain't been workin' so far.

  4. See this thread for part of my response:

    https://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=204039

    The second part is this:

For reasons I don't know, this ad only seems to pop up when Lucy Diamonds posts an ad in Fredericton. If Lucy doesn't post for a while, I don't see the ad for the other.

Now, Lucy is in Saint John (for what looks like the first time...at least in a while) and this ad pops up again...in Saint John.

So it's either Lucy doing something funky, or a scammer taking advantage of similarities to Lucy.

90% sure of all that. 10% doubt because I haven't paid THAT much attention to it. But, it's hard to miss if you look at BP regularly....

  5. 1st one is a fake photo. Do a tineye search and you'll get hits all over the place. So, I'd stay away.

I don't know anything about the other two other than they just started posting ads within the last day or two...

EDIT: Realized something. For the 1st one, I'm not sure if that's fake or not. However, the add used to have 2 photos. The 2nd one was a cropped photo of model. That's the one I'm thinking of. It's no longer used in the ads.

  6. Vanessa has been advertising on Backpage for at least a year, I believe, but I've never taken an opportunity to meet her. That was mainly due to little being known about her other than one or two comments on the boards (all positive).

I decided a few days ago, though, to "take a chance" and I'm very happy I did.

She's very easy to deal with and even easier to be with. Very sweet. As you can tell by her photos, she's a curvy and voluptuous woman and very attractive. She has a cute French accent and seems to fall naturally into her native language when...er...excited. That's just one of the many smile-inducing moments from the encounter. :)

Long story short, I certainly recommend her. I'll be visiting her again and I'm looking forward to it.

She has a profile here (linked to above) but hasn't been active yet other than uploading some photos. Maybe we can convince her to stop in and say, "Hello". ;)

  7. Tim Horton's had a promo going on a couple of years ago where they gave a free tassimo machine. So, I took advantage.

It works great, and the coffee is generally good. However, the cost was ridiculous when compared to "normal" coffee. I drink a lot of coffee in the run of a month, so I gave up on the Tassimo. The quality of the coffee, while good, is no better than other methods and isn't worth the added expense.

If I have the time, nothing beats a coffee from and old fashioned coffee perk. Usually though, it's from a good quality drip machine.

  8. Cleo has received positive comments on this board in various threads, but no one has yet written up an "official" recommendation. So, I thought I'd take care of that little piece of business. :)

I've been wanting to meet her for some time and a few days ago I finally had the chance.

I was out shopping for Christmas and found myself with some free time. I had contacted Cleo a day or two beforehand just to get some info and introduce myself (and she handled that very kindly). So, when my text came in, setting things up went very smoothly and she accommodated a short notice request (much appreciated and never expected).

After I failed to follow really simple directions to her location and got confused-- I can be such an idiot sometimes, I mean really!-- the door opened up and there stood one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen. :)

I'm typically a shy guy and nervous when meeting someone new, but she handled that wonderfully and put me at ease. She's easy to talk to and very comfortable to be with. Intelligent and mature.

I won't go into any detail, of course, but I really enjoyed my time and very much recommend her. She's that cute, sexy, girl next door that you just can't help gettin' a crush on.

I decided to leave this lifestyle a month or so ago, but I'm glad I reconsidered! I'll be seeing Cleo again and I plan to do so soon. :)

  9. I'm not one to make these types of posts, but since there are a few of you that I do have some sort of relationship with, I didn't just want to "disappear".

Due to various reasons, some in my personal life...some related to the "hobby"...I've decided to stop participating in the "hobby" (I hate that description, so it always gets quotes) completely.

That said, my online presence, will be completely wiped at some point over the next day or so.

    I wish you all well!!!!

    Take care. :)

  10. Yep, I fiddled around with that yesterday (didn't know that's what you meant).

The filtering options only seem to affect the inbox, they don't hold for the sent items. The forum software is probably missing some updates.

Anywho...it is was it is. :)

  11. Thanks, Meaghan.

Yeah, I couldn't find it either....

Anyway, I lost a couple more today. It looks like the sent items folder will only keep the last 30 days worth of messages....any older, then they start to drop off.

Not a huge deal, but I like to keep all my communications for reference.

  12. I noticed this months ago, but didn't ask then. I see it's happening again, so....

Every now and then I'll see my Private Messages total drop and the PMs vanish. It seems to be only happening to the "Sent Items" folder.

My PM limit is 1000 and I'm way below that. Right now I'm at a total of 69 (ha!).

    Anyway...anyone else notice this?

  13. I sounds like your new to the "hobby"?

If so, I can tell you that I spent A LOT of time reading these boards and researching before I had my first encounter. Yes, some just jump in head first, but others are like me...and you sound like that as well. :)

Long story short, don't be afraid to spend some time getting to know how things work, and who the people are, before setting up an appointment.

And, questions generally aren't a problem, of course, we help when we can. :)

    Good luck...
