I'm wondering as to why Lyla is so censored , can't say this , can't say that , words are blocked etc etc. I know bill C 36 has got something to do with it but in saying that why can a site like SP411 allowed to be so open. I believe this is Toronto based.

I'm not saying that all the negative comments on there are warranted or in good taste but the conversation is not filtered at all or very little.

I'm happy Lyla wants to keep certain standards but why two different sets of rules.

Is it provincially different ?

Others may be taking more of a risk, maybe they operate in Toronto but have servers and business address in Amsterdam (like many have done). The law is not being enforced right now but it could as it is law now and anyone seeking paid for sexual services is breaking the law so the censors help educate people as well as protect anyone who may not know the law.

 

For the ladies they can LEGALLY advertise however no one can ALLOW them to advertise (It's a catch 22) if we allow someone to advertise sexual services they are not at risk but it puts the site and the owners of the site at risk.

 

Legally anyone can advertise NON SEXUAL services here and DISCUSS escorts and let people know they had a good time with one of the ladies, if anything goes on above and beyond a non sexual date we don't want to know about it and it should not be discussed in public, anyone posting and saying "Hey i got such and such from so and so on our date" would technically be admitting to breaking the laws.

 

Don't vote conservative if you dont like the current laws.
