AUTUMN RAINE 15548 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 You have 1 month to live and you could do anything .. what would that be? And why would that or those things be important to you? For me .. it would be to visit as many 3rd world countries I could to offer aid .. If i am dying what would it matter if they were contagious .. However, I'd gather my family around close in a tropical paradise and tell them each day how much I love them. I would want them to know how sorry I am for letting them down and tell them how much I love them... I would want to thank the many people in my life who have been there for me often when I probably did not deserve their love and support. I would want to reach out to the some friends who I have become more distant with and reconnect to ensure that they knew that I appreciate that I did not always make it easy to be my friend but that truly value them in my life and thank them for their friendship. If i was told I only had a month to live earlier in my life I think I would have been panicked and mad and upset at everything I would lose and not get to do.... but at this point in my life I have come to understand very clearly that life without love and happiness is not really life... that living with regret and pain and grief is a far worse fate then dying.... we all die at some point. MightyPen 67414 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 I always expect to die tomorrow. If I knew I had a month, I wouldn't worry about travel or objects; more about relationships. There are some favourite restaurants I'd visit, and a few SPs I'd schedule some time with so I could have a few last special experiences. But mostly I'd spend a lot of time with the friends and family who have played meaningful parts in my life.
