And speaking of ex boyfriends, it's just best to move on and never look back. At least that's what I do! Masculine ego and their hearts are very fragile. Never expect someone to make you whole or make you happy. To me, this is the jist of the song. I can't relate to this song with what i do for a living because I don't play my clients.
