Could we have a public recognition of the male population in CERB?

I do not mean a "vote", or a "compliment" after a visit/session.

In the past I read some comments about a wonderful gent written by an SP.

It was not the name of the man in question.

I am proposing a place that is public (not the Ladies section) to mention the "great" acts (not sexual); the attitudes; the nice camaraderie of our male members.

I have many examples of gallantry and helpfulness, advice and getting out of their ways for us in one way or another.

I am aware of the nature of this site, but I am also perfectly cognizant of the fact we are all persons with different genders and a unique approach.

If there is a recommendation for the ladies, could it be one for the gentlemen...?

Let me start with a client, Moustaffa, he went out of his way to help me in my personal life because he knows I am supporting a very sick relative and going through very tough financial moments. I am not talking only about money for services but also his traveling to see me from afar just to make sure my rent is paid; offering me to move the wheelchair or taking me here or there. I take my hat for persons like him.

I have many more examples, and I know all the men here we go a step forward for something else than the rendez-vous should be mentioned.

I hope our Mod can make something for all of us to celebrate our men!

I think that there is no harm in this as long as the member is ok with the post! I, too, would like to publicly thanks people but of course only with their consent.

Thats a good idea Loralee. Just as a recommendation is appreciated by the ladies, acknowledging "above and beyond the call" would be appreciated too.

I would add, include all members of CERB, I'm sure there are ladies who have also shown helpfulness, advice etc. And it may be a hobbiest who helped a fellow hobbiest, or sp who helped another sp.

And since CERB's underlying theme is being a recommendation board, and if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything, this idea seems very in keeping with CERB policy

I agree and this is a wonderful idea Loralee, as long as the hoobyist is fine with being listed. In my opinion most Sp's would appreciate this also. I have seen many members many times that do not post or do reco's, as their own personal choice but strongly believe they should be recognized as being a wonderful gentleman and date.

Not only do I think this is a touching and generous concept on the part of the ladies here... I also think a side effect would be to counter some of the negative myths still foisted upon us about this industry's providers and clients (I'm looking at YOU, CTV Toronto New Clip!)
