I'll be back home to Halifax from Toronto for a brief visit next week and hoping to book some incall time with a great Maritimes SP. I have a lot of experience hobbying up here, but have always gone through the more well-known agencies, never booked with an indie. Booking with an agency has always been very easy and reliable, never any drama or disappointment. It's my understanding that there aren't really any proper agencies operating in Halifax -- is that true? Been looking at Leolist/Tryst listings, with some alluring options, but my impression is many are fake or scams, which is making me wary of the whole thing. I know "buyer beware" is always the credo, but I really want to avoid some ugly situation. Am I correct to avoid LL? Any superior sources to pursue? Any advice on how to proceed is much appreciated! Many of the newer recos may be for travelling ladies who have already left the City, but the ads are mostly current, and as far as I can tell, there really are not any fakes in the ads. Adding, II guess the section is correctly called "Schedules and Announcements". clintbarton96 1047 Report post Posted January 20 I could be wrong but I don't believe there are any agencies in Halifax any longer. There used to be one around 12 years ago. LL I estimate is 95% fake ads, probably made by LL just to force legit providers to pay to bump their adds over all the fakes. Any ad on LL that is face out is most likely a scam. Any provider willing to pay Tryst for ads at a couple hundred dollars a month and have a website and social media is unlikely to be a scam. Do your research and you should be fine. Dm me if you want!
