From my knowledge, many agencies function as employers. I have never heard of a Canadian agency checking for STD's and I'm not how they would even do that since health records are private. qwertyaccount 15793 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 Even if they did check, wouldn't it result with the same sort of issues with drug testing in the government and "corporate America" - getting tested with someone else's pee, getting someone else to take the test for you, etc. Even with full and honest testing, there are no guarantees in life other than taxes and death. Everyone needs to be careful, especially with "civilians" who don't always take the precautions they should. KatiePie 1138 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 My experience with an agency was that they don't check for STD test results, however, would be more than willing to accompany you to the doctors to be checked.
