I've done that already, but my browsing history continues to be recorded. What I mean is, I don't want the browser to track my history. In other words, I want a system like Firefox where I don't have to continuously delete my tracks.

It's called "Incognito" mode on Chrome. The browser won't record your history or store any cookies, although Google itself will still record your useage.

I would suggest sticking with Firefox. There are more add-ons that will protect your privacy.

An excellent reason to avoid it like the plague, IMO. There are some things the Chocolate Factory doesn't need to know.

+1 on that. I have FF set up to purge history, cookies, cache, LSOs, etc when I shut it down. And Flash configured not to allow LSOs in the first place. And a FF plugin to block them.

Also, note that a completely clean browser history may in itself cause suspicion, if noticed...
