Strips Clubs - the new middle ground?

I've always wanted a middle ground between strip clubs and an escort.

 

The cuddling, caressing you can get with a dancer is never enough. And sometimes you just don't want the whole she-bang with an escort, or can't afford it, or afford it often.

 

I suppose massage parlors could be considered the "middle ground" between the two experiences- a naked woman to cuddle with and a release at the end. But I'm really not interested in a massage. Fumbling around in a shower doesn't appeal to me either.

 

What I want ideally is a girl who will get naked and allow me some liberties, for a good price.

 

It seems clubs these days are changing in that direction. There was a recent thread about how kissing in the champagne room isn't too rare anymore. And today, I had a great time with a girl who allowed my mouth on her breasts and with whom I had some serious crotch-to-crotch friction.

 

If this trend in clubs continues, I will have found my happy middle ground.

I can relate to your post. I like the middle ground too. I don't enjoy massage either but love hugging and kissing and cuddling but not necessarily sex. Mind you kissing in the CRs is nothing new and was a lot more common prior to 2008 when we used to have the private CRs as opposed to the open CR concept imposed by the city a few years ago. If you do really like this try Pigale and Taboo across the bridge......

You could always book with a SP and specify before hand exactly what you're looking for and specify that you're not looking for the whole shebang.

 

One thing to keep in mind though is that you're paying for their time, so rates will likely remain the same.

I completely agree that its a good middle ground. Can be as exciting as other aspects of the hobby, and the girls are generally not as rushed which gives you a much better chance to get to know them. Also, no chance of getting busted with all the nasty consequences that entails.

I think you're thinking of the street scene as reputable SP's won't rush you and I've never heard of SP (Escorts) being busted. When it comes to prostitution the only sweeps in this area are of the street scene. As long as he gets a reputable and well reviewed SP he will have nothing to worry about. Sure dancer's don't rush you, because they're raking it in. 30 minutes with a dancer you've just spent somewhere in the area of $150-$200 where you could spend that for an hour with a SP. I don't mean to imply that they're money hungry but it's their job, to seduce you and keep you there longer.

 

I don't mean to bash strip bars, I spend a lot of time and money at stripclubs myself. Spending 10-15 minutes in the CR with a sexy dancer is a thrill, can't deny that. But if I'm looking for a little more intimate kind of encounter than I'll book a SP.

 

The OP mentioned he was looking for a middle ground between strip clubs and full service without going to a MP. Again the most logical solution to me would be to book a SP and mention what he's looking for. The SP's not gonna kick him out the door because he doesn't want full service, he's paying for their time, not their services. That could even include just kissing, cuddling and talking for an hour or two without any actual sexual activities. Or watch a movie while cuddling, etc. Or if he's interested in certain activities but not others....as he said, not the whole shebang, he just needs to say so when making the arrangements with her.

 

Sexual activities are not a must when booking a SP, he would just need to specify with the SP before booking via PM, e-mail, etc exactly what he has in mind. If she's not happy with what he's looking for than he can move on to the next lady he has on mind.

 

I guess it all depends on his budget...me personally, I can relax a lot more, spending $200-250 with a SP for an hour or so and not have to worry about the little dollar sign in my mind going "ka-ching" every time a new song starts. $20/song adds up very quickly.

 

Like I said, nothing against strip bars, I like 'em too depending on my mood. But for a less rushed, more intimate encounter and setting, I'll go with a SP every time.

It's the cost difference.

 

I can get what I'm looking for from a stripper in 2 songs - so $40 max. Booking an SP for say 30 minutes is what, $160? Big difference.

 

The SP and I may not have chemistry - she may not be who or offer what I'm looking for.

 

In a SC, I have the choice of ladies. I can have a beer and a nice lunch and watch them on the floor and around the club, then make my choice. Or not, if no one appeals. And no harm done.

 

And if a girl isn't who or what I'm looking for in the champagne room, I'm only out $20.

 

It's about cost, choice, and convenience. The fun of easy access to many different girls for a great "introductory" price.

 

That being said, in full disclosure, I don't make much more than a bit above minimum wage. If I made as good a living as some of you, this wouldn't be an issue.

I would say the advice to hit the clubs across the river is your best bet. Those girls play ball in respect to what you're looking for.

try the nu den on st laurent and belfast. it is, in my opinion, the best strip club in ottawa.

In all honesty I dont know if the nu den will be what the OP is looking for. I find the dancers a lot more friendly at other clubs throughout the city.

I don't drive either but trust me, Taboo and Pigale are (more often than not) worth the 20-25 minute bus ride if you're looking for friendly, liberal dancers. Day times are good. Nice thing is they're literally across the street from each other. So if you're not having luck at one place you literally just cross the street and try the other.

The middle ground you look for best found at Pigale/Taboo. Unfortunately Pigale is closed Saturdays daytime and Taboo has been dead recently on Saturdays as well, so for me Barbs is the place to go as I go to SCs only Saturdays and daytime but if I could take a weekday off, then Pigale/Taboo combo is the best place for the middle ground that I am looking for. I hear Barefax is not bad either (except weekends).

 

I am surprised at NuDen's recommendation. Until last year (when I stopped going there) it was the lowest mileage bar in NCR. Never mind the middle ground even the lower ground was out of question and stage might as well be on top of mount Everest. Unless it has changed recently.

Yeah thats pretty much how they ruined the Nuden. I dont go to the CRs for extras but even then, the Nuden feels way too open for my comfort.

While federal laws are in the air, the bylaws on strip clubs are still on the books. It will be interesting to see how things change in the next year or so. I have my doubts the specific bylaws have been enforced in a while.

I took a quick tour of the ottawa clubs last week after checking out taboo and pigale.

 

The nuden was my last stop and it was as described. Wide open dance areas. And even if you didnt go in the new champagne rooms and used one of the older ones..the dances compared to the other clubs were...lets just say generic. Very tame.

I'm not sure what fumbling around in the shower you're referring to. If you fumble around in the shower at a massage place, then you can't be trusted in the shower in your own place. In other words, what's the shower got to do with anything? Not all places have the girl join you in the shower.

 

Regarding "the middle ground", there's plenty of different types of "middle ground". The massage experience is much closer to the escort side of things than the stripping side of things. It's more like an "upper middle ground". Strippers with liberal attitudes might be more of a "lower middle ground". As someone else has noted, I can get everything I need from a dancer in two songs, $40.

I agree. The Playmate is certainly a good option this side of the river IMHO.
