When they cite the downturn in the SC business since 97 I would say there are a number of reasons for that. 1. Increased restrictions by opening up the CR areas...no longer private dances 2. The increase of good SPs and MPs available via the Internet. 3. Due to the slow business in most of the clubs, an increasing number of dancers are also offering escort services nowadays. It's a little funny how the local bylaws are so far from the truth in all those cities, and that Toronto of all places is 'loosening' them, when I'd say their clubs already have the loosest rules. In any case, at least our cities aren't run like many American ones, where local officials dig up these bylaws and organize raids to shut down clubs around election time to make the incumbent look good. No matter what era it was, everybody always thought the prices for everything at strip clubs were absurd. Additional Comments: i havent been to a strip joint in a long time, but last time i was at one, you were still allowed to touch! As far as I remember, there have always been some form of restrictions in place on touching. Now whether the girls or the clubs chose to enforce them is another thing.
