Hands down my Cabbage Patch Kid! She was my sidekick all through my childhood.

a Tonka dump truck that looked very much like this one (after I played with it for years and years)

Mine would have to be these items and by seeing them on ebay, they are worth a lot of money nowadays but you can't put a pricetag on these memories..

Lots of fond memories from my childhood.

Fisher Price Little People House for Christmas when I was 4 or 5 years old.

Ha! I remember one mega-"CHRISTMAS OF G.I. JOE". Featuring the incredibly cheesy, but nevertheless answer to my childhood dreams, G.I. JOE HEADQUARTERS:

This was the era of the 12" tall G.I. Joes with KUNG FU GRIP and fuzzy hair that came off in the water (but who nevertheless came with a leaky deep-sea-diving suit).

I think the same year I got a bizarre toy of a styrofoam aircraft carrier with a joystick on one end, and an attached string you ran up a staircase and tied to a bannister. Then you clipped a little plastic Phantom jet to the top of the string... ran downstairs and jerked the joystick to release the plane... and moved the joystick back and forth to stretch or slacken the string so that the toy plane landed flat on the top of the carrier. Man... that was heaven, for a bout a day.

Yeah! Here it is:

Note that I used the phrase "jerked the joystick" above, and didn't mean it THAT way even a bit.

I can remember one Christmas when our father, I mean Santa, gave us stock certificates in the phone company. Oh, the fun we had that morning! Throwing it in the air, rolling on the floor with it. Good times!

My father was a very practical man, although he's mellowed in his old age.

I can't say I remember getting it since I was too young, but I do remember being inseparable from my orange dog teddy bear. Too this day I still have it kept as a souvenir.

table top hockey , with the rods to control the players .

got a new every year for 5 years because my friends and i would just destroy the thing playing every day/night we could unless i had one of my own sports to go play .

a close second would be my sister's easy bake oven . it made for some good intermissions during our table top games .
