Selfies vs Professional Photo Shoots.

Recommended Posts

I tend to enjoy the pro photos more but selfies have a way of tickling my fancy as well. As has been said earlier here, its important that photos be clear, genuine and express a moment in time well whether it be fun smiles, sensuality or sexuality.

I also pay attentin to what is in the background, a dumpy room distracts big time from a gorgeous lady,

Hmm, hadn't really thought about it before but I suppose the professional ones probably catch my eye a bit more, at least initially. Someone else said they thought they all look the same, but I find the pose in the selfies tend to be mostly similar, whereas the professionally taken ones more often are at interesting angles, play with the light, and *can* be more artistic.

It's certainly not a hard rule, as there are undeniably plenty of selfies that are eye-catching, and professional shots that seem less authentic due to being overly photo-shopped.

At the end of the day, I think the lady in the picture (looks and personality) is going to be more important than the method by which the it was taken.

I really love taking selfies. I blame my iPhone and Twitter for that. ;)

I think professional photoshoots are really important, but I don't think having non-professional photos on CERB or on your website is indicative of how you spend the money you make in this industry (i.e. on drugs). That's a bit ridiculous, right? I guess I can't assume to know what clients think, but I would hope they would have a more nuanced understanding of this industry than that would suggest.

When I first started on CERB all of my photos were selfies. I coasted along that way for over a year. I didn't even have a website! I was a full-time undergraduate student working as an escort on the side and was using the money to pay off student debt. How people decide to invest their money is their own concern, and not ours to judge.

I'm not going to lie though, I'm addicted to professional photoshoots now. I love working with different photographers and I really enjoy tweaking and updating my website. I have a 'selfies' album on CERB but not on my website... I think it adds a lot and gives a glimpse into your life (the selfies that is) :)

I think both types of pictures serve a purpose certainly the professionally shot pictures tell me that the lady is serious about her business and they do an excellent job of portraying the image the lady us trying to convey.

Selfies... well they are just cute and sexy and spontaneous... there us nothing better than having an lady you see pop you a spontaneous selfie either before or after the session.

Just my opinion.

Whether a provider chooses to publish professional photos or selfies does not dictate my interest in her. I appreciate attractive, sexy women and eye-catching photography no matter what method is used.

Having said that I do enjoy a lot of selfies posted on this board. I find them to be another form of creative expression (like ad copy or blog musings), often providing insight into a lady's personality. Like any talent or skill, some ladies more than others have a knack for taking them.
